The Healing Nature Of The Heart Is A Beautiful Gift

The Port of Healing and Hope

The heart is a breathtaking vessel of promise whose potential is limitless

     The journey is a unique, creative, and curious wonder.  The depths of its mysterious and complicated meaning cannot be defined by mere words.  It is characterized by unknown, suspense-filled pathways, and moments of challenge and intrigue.  So, how does the journeyman prepare his / her heart for the unknown mission ahead?  Actually, the concept of being fully prepared is not really feasible. But, preparing the heart with the proper tools can make the journeyman more equipped.

     The healing tool box is a package of five tools that can help the heart and spirit to heal, remain upbeat, and retain healing status.  The five tools are:  forgiveness, compassion, positive thoughts, patience (anti anger), and love (laughter).  Forgiveness can be one of the hardest things for the heart to deal with.  It has two categories:  others, and self.  There is one thing to keep in mind here.  Nothing / no one is perfect except God.  So, when hurtful times come, it is important to forgive others, and most especially self.

     It facilitates peace and provides a better environment for the heart to become enriched and grow.  Remember to combine forgiveness with prayer.  The Lord will provide the strength to succeed.  Compassion is the next important tool  The heart that gives kindness and care to others receives blessings manifold in return.  Thinking about others provides peace in the knowledge of making a difference and having a heart like God.

     Positive thoughts are one of the most important tools.  Reflecting upon positive things equips the heart for success and peace in the knowledge that better things are coming.  This is where great faith becomes a durable factor.  The fact that God is in control provides assurance that things will be fine because he always has the best in mind.  Patience (anti anger) is another hard tool for the heart.

     Sometimes one of the hardest things is waiting or taking a step back, (in the essence of humanity), and trying not to lose control.  Again, this is another important tool to combine with prayer.  The Lord can provide the assistance needed to facilitate success.  Remember, all good things come to those who wait, and the best things come from God.  The final tool is love / laughter.  The two seemed to be combined in a way.

     Loving yourself and others is a universal seed of hope that facilitates a heart of peace, happiness, and laughter.  It is another special gift from God's heart to nurture health and healing.  So, yes, the journey is a mysterious and uncertain wonder.  But, when the journeyman is equipped with the healing tool box, and the power of faith and prayer, it's peace and success ahead!

The greatest gift is the one that costs nothing, is priceless, and keeps on giving forever

     The greatest thing that the heart can do is to take a step back in quiet reflection.  But, due to various reasons, this almost never happens.  As a result, the rare and very precious things of the journey are more often overlooked.  The most beautiful and delicate gifts that come from a loving and magnificent creator come even in the smallest of packages.  They cost nothing, are priceless, and give back more than can ever be imagined with the passage of time.  One of these amazing gifts is the touch of true friendship.

     This is the beautiful expression of the love of the heart that unites and blesses forever.  True friendship is not just a definition, but an unbreakable bond of hope and inspiration.  Two hearts share an encouraging love and caring spirit that makes them each others strength and durable foundation.  When a loving creator blesses with the gift of genuine true friendship he is empowering the journey with the beautiful strength of inspiration, hope, and the light of love and peace.

     But, what defines a true friend?  There are five main characteristics.  A true friend:  * is always there to share your laughter and dry your tears, * is the light that guides your path and the inspiration that lights your heart, * your encouragement, * your understanding listener, * your source of delight.  So, take a step back and examine your heart today.  Make more quality time for quiet reflection.  Count all of the many blessings that have been bestowed to you to enrich your journey.

     Don't miss even the smallest one!  Empower yourself to be a dynamic journeyman today.  Tell your true friend how much they mean to you.  Remember, time itself is a very delicate gift.  Give thanks with a grateful and appreciative heart.  The journeyman who knows how truly blessed he is becomes more strengthened for greater victory.

A heart that realizes its little imperfections becomes wiser and more rugged in its mission

     Sometimes the most difficult thing to comprehend is the fragile or imperfect part of human nature.  It's one of the most complicated things for the heart to accept or envision.  After all, a misstep is not a part of a true champion's life dictionary, or is it?  A masterpiece begins as a beautiful work in progress.  It takes a shell or a mold to be placed into a craftman's hands.  There has to be vulnerable points.  Why?  It is at that time when a magnificent creator can take those inadequacies and begin a great and mighty work.

     But, you cannot have the masterpiece without the imperfect mold.  Prayer is the important tool for the champion's heart and for the craftman's work.  It allows the journeyman an opportunity to express needs and desires and receive empowerment and provision for the future.  It allows the craftman (or creator), the opportunity to see the genuineness and uniqueness of his beautiful creation.  

     So, what happens when a misstep appears?  The heart fills with appreciation.  Why?  There are three things to consider:
* the heart will work to be more diligent, * the heart will grow from the lesson it discovers, * the heart will have more powerful steps in pursuit of its great mission.  

     Prayer is a genuine lifeline.  It is an instrument that allows the heart the peace that it needs, the assurance that it yearns for, and the encouragement that it reaches for.  This lifeline is a beautiful light of hope for the humbled heart.  The journeyman must not allow any negative factors to inhibit his / her chances of growing and becoming the masterpiece that they were destined to be.  It's easy to have those feelings.

     But, that's where the power of prayer becomes the tool of success.  Push away those unwanted, negative and untruthful concepts.  It is at that point when the journeyman can take those assured steps onto a higher and brighter pathway, mindful of the steps that he / she left behind.

Having something magnificent to accomplish on his mind
He begins to work with diligence upon each imperfect place
Excited and overjoyed about the masterpiece he would find.

Soon, the little imperfections began to quickly disappear
Something beautiful and exquisite bloomed from precious seeds of love
It's an unbelievable masterpiece that he holds close and dear
A journeyman's heart of valor is his special gift from above.

The Port of Strength, Courage, and Perseverance

A heart that is determined to endure and find the true meaning of success will discover the greatest reward

     The footsteps along a journey can seem different in nature.  There are some that will appear smooth, brightly illuminated by the beauty of the sun.  Yet, there are others that will seem rocky, over shadowed by the dullness of the clouds and rain.  So, how does the heart navigate through such diversity and find success?  What is success?
      Success cannot be universally defined.  But, the true meaning can only be found in the uniqueness of each heart.  However, the navigation begins by turning on the powerful compass of faith.  Faith is a beautiful gift.  It is a light of hope that provides clarity and insight to the heart.  There can be no room for fear in the realm of this positive force.  It is a dynamic catalyst that encourages another precious gift from God.....happiness.  This is not plain happiness.  But, it is genuine, unconditional, eternal happiness.  It is always there, in all seasons to delight, and uplift the heart and enrich the spirit.
     This gentle gift is a fragile seed that blossoms into two more important blessings.....strength and courage.  It is a powerful strength that empowers and educates the heart to know that anything can be accomplished and an inspiring courage that provides the motivation to get there.  It helps the heart to see things differently through the eyes of hope, not for what things are, but, for what they could be.  Once the heart is guided by faith, and enriched by happiness, and governed by strength and courage, it is then empowered by two important instruments.....perseverance and endurance.
     Strength gives the heart the ability to persevere or carry on and work.  Courage provides the power to endure or move forward.  So, perhaps one definition of success could be.....a heart that values every moment, surrounded by the love of family and good friends, governed by faith and helping others.  Remember, the greatest success worth having is that which is seen through God's eyes.  So persevere, endure the little rockiness and maybe those few rain drops can bring beautiful blooms for the next footsteps to come.

Father.............Help me to know true happiness that can only comes from you
The kind that derives from pure faith and is a blessing to me
So that it will help me to persevere in all that I may do
and be a light of inspiration for all to truly see.

A Love That Transcends

The Journey Begins:  The Port of Discovery

A heart that sees beauty and potential finds the genuine happiness it yearns for

    

     The pathway of discovery is a simple and yet complex road of adventure.  The heart begins the detailed process of looking within itself.  The greatest definition starts with the examination of the pieces that incorporate the whole being.  This knowledge is increasingly valuable for success.  The heart that understands inner meaning can more completely search for purpose and proclaim dreams.  But, how does this process begin?

     There are four steps to this process.  These steps include:  abilities, likes, beliefs, and aspirations.  But, all of these are centrally focused around the road map for the journey, love.  This road map can be sub-categorized into three parts:  a love of life, an inner love, and a love for other hearts.  Each one of these relies upon the other.  The heart must love the gift of life in order to achieve and fulfill any type of destiny.  The heart must also have inner love.  Why is this important?  This understanding shows that the gift of each day and the gift of each life are precious and so greatly appreciated.  After all, the heart that does not love itself, cannot hope to be happy or successful.

     Each heart is unique and special in its own right.  This is not because of content.  But, instead, it has its beauty in the simple fact that it is a magnificent creation by God's great hands.

So, why are the four steps of inner examination important?  The heart that more clearly knows its abilities, likes, beliefs, and aspirations will have a more finely tuned road map.  This means being able to discover gifts and have dreams far beyond any expectations.  Now, once all of that is complete, there can be a more clearer definition of the third love..... a love for other hearts.  A heart strongly set upon its journey can bless other hearts with its beauty and gifts. 

     This can include many different things, such as a thoughtful act, a very kind deed, a kind word, a hand shake, even a simple smile in passing.  It is a seed of love planted into the heart of another, and can bless and grow into a magnificent creation that started with one little thing.

The heart upon its pathway of discovery sees that a beautiful masterpiece can be created upon the present of each new day.  It all begins with a simple road map............a precious gift that is valuable, yet costs nothing............a love that transcends.

The Boarding Pass Is Ready

A searching heart ignited by motivation and powered by determination can more definitively find its greatest pathway of promise.

     

    

     Looking out and beholding the breathtaking light of a new day fills the heart with wonder.  This fragile gift is unique and personal.  It is a special canvas waiting for the newest colors of hope that the spirit can only dream of.  Taking the first steps upon a rugged pathway can seem challenging, yet are important.  Steps that are grounded in a firm foundation have the greatest potential for enduring and far reaching success.  But, what does a firm foundation involve?  

     A firm foundation constitutes three p's:  prayer, purpose, and promise, [dreams].  Each one is tied to the other.  Prayer is a dynamic catalyst.  It is a factor that helps the heart to realize that control of life is in the hands of a higher power.  Trying to do things simply in the essence of humanity does not yield the proper or desired results.  But, prayer allows the heart to exhibit sincerity, humility, and humbleness in its greatest form by seeking the will and plan of its creator.  It is then a matter of faith and trust, [life tool box] that he will lead, protect, and provide throughout the journey.

     The next p is purpose.  Trying to determine purpose is like trying to read a mystery novel by skipping to the last page to see who the culprit was.  Whenever you do that, you deprive yourself of the adventure along the way.  Purpose means knowing who you are as a unique individual; self-assured, confident, and believing in abilities to achieve [life tool box].  We know that God will take these incredible abilities that are special and use them in a dynamic way.  He has a great and wonderful plan and purpose for each life.  But, it must be understood that it is interwoven into the passages of time, like a beautiful story of intrigue, discovery, and adventure.

     Everything must have its own season.  The third p is promise {dreams}.  A dream is a special seed nurtured by positive things to blossom into the reality that great things can be accomplished to make a difference.  There is the knowledge that we have the ability to pray and through that a purpose and plan.  But, then there is the gift of the ability to dream.  God wants us to have dreams and to know that all good things worth having come from him.  Nothing is impossible if we believe in him and our ability through him.

     So, let's take the strength of prayer and that purpose, and the light of those awesome dreams and paint something unbelievable on the canvas of each gifted day.  Let's make the gift we are given an incredible masterpiece that is so welcomed with a grateful spirit and a light to others.  Now, let's prepare for our next port of call.  Are you ready?  STAY TUNED!

     Everything lies in the palm of his hands.  Placing yourself and all things into those mighty hands is a dynamic seed from which great things emerge.

Love / hope is essentially the road map for the journey.  Love is the perfect light of the spirit and hope is its reflective mirror that illuminates that genuine, true beauty of an individual.  It is the catalyst that helps a person to see things with the heart in its purest form and in a positive way.

     Trust is like the journey signs along your travels.  Self-confidence / assurance is the timer for every step.  A trusting heart doesn't doubt.  But, it has the peace of something that it knows to be real and solid.  Self-confidence / assurance is probably the second most important of these tools.  It is essential to know who you are as a unique individual and all of the wonderful gifts that define you.

     Belief / motivation are the catalyst to reaching the finish line victorious and ties everything together.  When you believe in yourself, you will be motivated to do great things.  Inspiration is the fuel for your successful journey.  It is important to properly prepare for your travels.  Be well prepared for the promise of tomorrow.  Remember,  NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!
