     The second gentleman entered the room, and sat down.  He took one of the folders and began sorting through it.  "Well, do we concur?"  the first gentleman asked.

     "Yes", he answered.  He then reached over and placed his hand on Rick's shoulder.  Rick immediately pulled back.  "My dear man,"  the first man said.  "Everything states that you have a unique sickness."

     Rick could feel a wave of fear going down his back.  "Excuse me?"  He asked.  "Yes", the other gentleman answered.  There is much that we need to discuss.  Rick started feeling odd.  Suddenly, he tumbled off the chair and blacked out.

A heart that finds the rugged strength of hope will find the peace that it longs for

 

     Have you ever seen the amazing beauty of a stained glass window?  Probably everyone has at one point in life whether in person or in a picture.  Every pane is a beautifully crafted wonder and masterpiece with its own unique qualities.

 

     It is a fragile and delicate creation that can bring much pleasure and delight.  Yet, without careful understanding of its complexities, that beauty can faulter.

 

     Can the human heart be viewed in much the same way?  It is a fragile and delicate wonder whose beauty is remarkable.  Yet, there are many factors along the journey that can hinder that creative essence.

 

     It is important to carefully understand its complexities.  So, what are these factors?  What steps can be taken?   How do the complexities fit in to the overall picture?  Some of the factors that can effect the heart's creative beauty, include:  1.  lost or unreturned

love, 2.  the death of a friend or loved one  3. anything.

 

     Pledging your heart to someone and giving them your love is symbolic.  Yet, if they leave you or walk away because they don't feel the same way, it can be devastating.

 

     There can be feelings of pain, betrayal, and even brokenness.  It can leave an empty void that can be hard to repair.  Another factor is the death of a friend or loved one.  There are many feelings that can be experienced which could include:  emptiness, loneliness, or grief.

 

     One can feel distant from others.  The third category can include basically anything unique to each individual life.  The journey may seem somewhat predictable.  But, at times, always surprising.

 

     So, how do the complexities fit in?  What steps can be taken?  The process of understanding the unique beauty of who you are and all that makes up that beauty is important.

 

     It means that you know what matters to you, what you desire, 

are safeguarding your valuable asset - your inner beauty and peace.  There are three main steps that can be taken:  faith and hope, encouragement and uplifting prayer, and understanding.

 

     First, there is no greater source than God.  Trusting him to equip you with what you need is the greatest solution.  Why does one watch the weatherman?  So, one can be prepared.  Well, leaning upon, and seeking God is the greatest preparation that the heart can imagine.

 

     He is the strength and hope for the journey.  Secondly, the encouragement and uplifting force of friends and family and prayer is unbelievable.  The knowledge that someone is thinking about you and praying for you is a powerful strength for the heart.

 

     It helps it to realize that it is never alone.  Thirdly, there is understanding.  Understanding who you are and what you are capable of is important.  It means that you understand that nothing is perfect or ideal.

 

     But, you have the strength and hope to see better things.  So, the key word is preparation.  Prepare and you will see that nothing will cause that beauty to faulter.  But, instead, it will blossom.  You will always have the dynamic peace and strength so crucial for the journey.

     The loud footsteps got closer and approached their location.  Suddenly, the curtain began to slide back.  Rick froze in his seat, once again.

   All of a sudden, another tall, thin gentleman stood before them.  "Have you told him yet?"  He inquired of the first man.

   "No", he answered.  "I have been trying to prepare him with gentle care."  Rick became even more concerned.  He looked upward and closed his eyes.

   "Please tell me gentlemen."  He said.  "Whether or not my heart is prepared, I cannot continue wondering."  Rick could feel a small tear cascade down his face.

     Probably the greatest gift that one can ever give is the precious wonder of the heart.  The heart has many wonderful seeds of promise that it has been endowed by a masterful Creator.  One of these seeds is the inspiring and powerful gift of love.

     We've all heard the common statement - 'finding Mr. or Ms. right'.  There is some truth to that.  However, if there is such a person, remember that it is not by our own humanity that we will truly find them.

     Perfect love is a seed of the heart that when blessed by God's grace and power, blossoms into an eternal force of hope.  This comes in two categories:  the love of God, and the love of others.  The love of God is an innate devotion to a faithful and dedicated Creator whose goodness is abundant.

     It is a personal choice and a powerful realization that he is everything and without him, we are nothing.  The love of others also comes in two categories:  brotherly love, and romantic love.  Brotherly love is a beautiful testimony to the person that you are and God has destined you to be.

     It's the warmth and goodness shown to others as God has expressed his grace to you.  It can be found in many different types of expressions.  Some examples may include:  a smile, a kind act, holding a door open, or simply a hand written card of encouragement.

     Romantic love is a little more detailed.  It is also a beautiful testimony to the person that you are now.  However, it requires a deep desire to seek God's direction,  Finding the perfect bond that will grow deeper and stronger forever means connecting two loving hearts by something great.

     The 'something great' is the blessing of God.  There is, of course, the destiny that some are meant to be single.  That is not a problem.  So, what does the journeyman do to decisively determine all of this?  

     There is a three point plan of action:  pray, seek, and follow.  Pray to God for direction, seek his will, and then follow the awesome journey that he has planned for you.  

     Thank him for the beautiful seed of perfect love.  When he touches it and enriches it with the light of his power, and glory, magnificent things will start to happen and skyrocket!

Rick took a deep breath, turned around, and looked directly into the gentleman's eyes.  He shuttered a bit as he tried to smile at him.  "What I have to say may not be enlightening to your heart."  He said.  "Please, just tell me."  Rick said, with intensity.  "Ok, Sir, please compose yourself."  He answered.

He watched as he slowly pulled out two more larger pieces of paper.  Suddenly, he could hear the door slowly creaking open.  Loud, eerie footsteps carefully approached them.  The tension in the room grew even more dynamic.

Rick slowly took another breath and listened in the moments that followed, awaiting the unknown.

A heart that finds a true best friend finds a priceless treasure

 

     Remember for a moment all of those precious memories from your childhood.  Each beautiful segment in time was a special delight to your heart, not only then, but, for years to come.  Most likely, those memories involved special times shared with a buddy or best friend.

 

     Maybe you went to a little league game together.  Possibly you had the same classes in school.  Perhaps it was those Friday nights when you hung out at the mall, played games and had pizza.  Even now, as an adult, you may have a best friend that you cherish.  You share a lot of the same interests and likes and enjoy the happiness in each others company.

 

     So, why is this an important factor for the journeyman?  A successful journey requires strong factors that will help it to grow and move in a positive direction.  Most, if not all of these factors are blessings from God's hands of grace.

 

     So, let's discuss a basic definition of a best friend.  A best friend is someone who is always there whenever you need them, shares the same interests, and is your confident.  There are three categories, in range of importance:  [1] God, [2] people [3] (and yes) pets.

 

     God is our magnificent Heavenly Father and perfect best friend.  He is always there to encourage you, lift you up, rejoice with you, cry with you and share your dreams.  He will never fail you, and is always there in every sense of the word.  He is the hope that keeps the journey thriving.

 

     People are not perfect.  However, when two hearts bond, there is a special connection from God's heart.  A best friend is a blessing that enriches your life and develops your journey.  Thirdly, animals can also be considered best friends.  They are blessings from God who are faithful and true, never judge, or ask for anything but love.  So, it is imperative for the journeyman to keep best friends close at heart.  They provide meaningful purpose for a strong and dynamic journey.

     The large, pale, skeletal-like hand reached over and grasped Rick's shoulder.  Rick shuttered in terrorizing surprise.  "Sir, you must pay close attention to all that I have to say to you today.  It is terribly important."  The large gentleman replied.

 

     Rick turned around on his seat.  He could feel himself shaking a bit, but, tried to stop.  The gentleman sorted through the papers and glanced over them.  He then cleared his throat again.  Rick tried desperately to smile and remain composed.

 

     He began to pray with fervent power to himself even more now.  "Please tell me what you must say,"  Rick pleaded.  "Most certainly,"  The gentleman answered.  Rick sat quietly and awaited as his heart beat even faster.

 

The Heart Desires A Perfect Sense Of Peace For All Times

The Port Of Tranquility And Comfort

 

A heart that yearns for and finds genuine peace, ensures a rugged shield for all seasons

       Please take a moment and try a brief experiment.  Get into a quiet section of the room, lay your head back, and close your eyes.  Now, consider the following three scenarios, one at a time:  1.  the orange - reddish glow of a sky just after a rain storm.  2.  a gently falling snow on Christmas morning.  3.  a beautiful sunset across a crystal blue ocean.

 

     What kinds of feelings or emotions do they evoke within you?  Well, if you are like most people, it probably means feelings of tranquility and perfect peace.  But, what is perfect peace?  How does the heart obtain it for all seasons of the journey?

 

     Perfect peace is an ideal sense of calm that brings enrichment to the heart.  It is not just a feeling, but, a sense of being.  It can be obtained and maintained in three important ways.  These steps include:  prayer, inner searching, and gratefulness.

 

     The first step, prayer, is a wonderful and strong relationship with God.  It is a strong and powerful lifeline to him that is grounded in the reality of who he is, what he can do, and his unending love.  It is not only the knowing, but, the believing that matters.  After all, believing means receiving.

 

     So, knowing and believing that God is in control provides a strong foundation for eternal peace, understanding in the heart that he will work it all out for the best.  The second category inner searching means knowing and believing in who you are, what you can accomplish, and finding the perfect balance toward happiness.

 

     The third step is gratefulness or blessing.  Truly being aware of just how fortunate you are gives you completeness, or wholeness.  So, what happens when the seasons and conditions of the journey variate?  The eternal peace becomes even more powerful.

 

     It is not defined by any challenges, limitations, or boundaries.  So, the journeyman's heart becomes more stronger.  It is protected and never plagued by factors such as fear, worry, and anxiety.  But, instead, the journeyman grows and becomes better able to take the next steps of the journey.

 

     So, make every effort to find this never-ending perfect peace.  It is a part of a durable shield of promise for tomorrow.
