Dear Lord,
Please protect my dear friends today

watch over them in all they do
Be their foundation of hope in every way
and their best friend to call upon so true
Give them a peace that is always there
and a strength that grows more as they go
Show them with your love how much you care
and all of your compassion let them know.
Let them feel your presence so strong and bright
and your grace with such unending happiness
Help them to feel pleasing in your sight
and to know that they are wonderfully blessed.

be their protection in every way

The True Hope Of Freedom

     Freedom is a subject that many of us don't really know the true definition of.  We have heard about it through various sources, like education.  But, we don't really know the true blessing that we have been given.

   This historical weekend, let us take time to think about just how truly fortunate we are.  But, before we can do that, we must remember one important thing.  We are 'one nation under God'.  

  There are many who would want to dispute that.  Where would we be without God?  We can see the beauty of His majesty all around us.  He has everything in the palm of His hands and all blessings come from Him.

  We can see His presence in the wonder of a morning sunrise, a baby's hearty laugh, and even the composition of a rainbow.  There are many ways we can see His glory.

  But, as a nation we have seemed to venture from that.  We have become divided over political nonsense.  We should come together and rededicate our nation to God.  Let us be the shining light of goodness on the world stage.

  Once we have taken that important first step then we can truly see the real meaning of freedom.  We are free to be the unique masterpieces that God designed us to be.

  Let us pray for our nation and its leaders.  Let us unite as a country with the respect honor and dignity that our forefathers so desired.  May God bless you all.  God bless America.

     What is your definition of happiness and success?  Do you define your joy by your position status and wealth?  Do you define it by the people that you have around you?  

     Life is like an interlocking puzzle.  Have you ever dumped all of the pieces of a puzzle onto a table and then started to find an answer.

   Well, here is the great news.  You can already have the central section placed for you.  Do you know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior?  If you do, you have found the source.

   You have found the true fountain of joy.  Jesus is the beautiful center piece of every life puzzle.  Now here is the amazing part.  You don't have to worry about fitting the other pieces.

   All that you have to do is have faith and trust in Him.  He is your joy.  He holds life in the palm of His hand.  Trust in Him today.

     It is so discouraging to see someone mistreating someone else.  They don't like the way that they look.  They don't like who they are or simply that they exist.  When you see something like this it makes you want to hold up a big mirror in the person's face and ask them .. 'just who do you see?'.

   You are not perfect.  No one is perfect except for the good Lord himself.  We have no right to judge or mistreat other people.  A small act of kindness whether a kind word or a kind deed or even a smile makes a world of difference. 

  If I could make the perfect t shirt and give them away free, it would read 'shine your light like Jesus would'.  So go out there and make a positive difference.  Treat others the way that you would want to be treated.  

  But, the next time you see someone being unkind pray for them.  Give them a beautiful word of advice.  "Give kindness away.  It is free and is a beautiful seed from God's heart."

Father:
Thank you for the wondrous hope of your gentle love,
Its light touches my willing heart so perfectly
It is a breathtaking gift from Heaven above
that brings refreshment and happiness just for me.

Your love begins to work in my heart each day,

     Do you ever have those days where you feel so lost and alone?  You feel like you have no defined purpose and really can't see any promise ahead?  Well, that's not hard to experience, especially in today's dark world.  This fast-paced society can have a negative effect on any one.  

   So what do you do?  What is the answer?  The solution is found in a real relationship with the Lord above.  Is it really that simple?  Yes, it certainly is.  The Lord is the Creator of the Universe.  He has everything and everyone in the palm of His great hands.

  Remember one thing..your joy and happiness is found in Jesus.  It is not found in the world around you.  So give everything over to Him and trust Him.  Walk each day in the light of His great presence and love.

  He will take away that lonely feeling and replace it with perfect peace!
