One Word

  The pathway may seem cloudy and rugged along the way
  There may be some confusion about just where to step next
  A yearning for guidance and clarity for every day
  And a desire for peace and genuine happiness.

  There's a strong feeling that no one really seems to care
  You feel alienated and it breaks you inside
  Yet not knowing someone is lifting you up in prayer
  Asking the Father to help you with hope and great pride.

  Suddenly there's a glimmer of promise shining so
  You begin to feel such a tranquil sense of great love
  One word from the Father through prayer is all you need to know
  Your answer is coming down from Heavens gate above.

My Best Friend

  When I feel alone and out of touch like no one seems to care,
  My heart is heavy and broken, hurting so much every day
  I feel like giving up with great sadness and heavy despair
  I just don't see any real promise, or a true hope filled way.

  Suddenly, a warmth seems to surround my heart with a great light,
  I can see something breathtaking whenever I close my eyes
  An illuminated hand reaching for me is a great sight
  And my heart knows it's in for a wonderful joy and surprise.

  "Don't worry and don't give up!" A voice whispers with such great love
  There is never a time when you are alone or have to fear
  Your Heavenly Father is lifting you up from Heaven above
  Just reach out for His goodness and grace that are always so near.

The Petition

Father...

  I never need an invitation to come to you,
  Just a humbled heart of desire and perfect love
  You know every point about me Lord completely through
  You rain your spirit around me from Heaven above.

  The light of your love warms my being so perfectly,
  A showering of your presence fills all that I am
  Your grace provides great strength for all that I hope to be
  I yearn for what you have for me by your mighty hand.

  My sense of insecurity is going right now,
Leaning on you I can expect so very much more

Living in a very tumultuous world, it is very easy to become burdened and disheartened.  But if you clearly focus on the peace and nothing else something will transgress.

  When we invite the Lord into our heart He becomes an intricate part of who we are.  His spirit resides in our hearts.

  His pure and perfect love is a breathtaking light that begins to make everything new.  So when the stress of the world tries to anchor itself, it is pushed away. 

  The joy and love of the Lord becomes that much needed stronghold.  So when we take time, take a deep breath with clarity and reflect something seems to happen.

  We can hear the spirit of the Lord as he speaks sweet words of love.  We can feel His divine presence moving in a mighty way.  He is making every part of who we are His own.

  So, close your eyes, listen and reflect as Heavens glory brings peace with breathtaking heart songs.

The Thought Concept

  Have you ever watched an athlete train for competition?  It is amazing.  There are a lot of things that go in to the process. Eating right and exercising are very important.

  But there is also one thing to consider.  You have to have the right frame of mind.  An athlete knows how important it is to be positive and focused.  After all you can't reach the winners circle with a negative base.

  We can apply this same philosophy to the ultimate race or journey that we all are on each day.  Each one of us is a beautiful and uniquely created masterpiece from God's hands.

We all have special gifts or blessings that He plants within us.  He has such plans and promise for us.  Yet we can hinder our potential simply through our own human imperfections.

I am speaking about negativity and doubt.  Whatever comes out of our mouths can fuel who we are.

  Why would you want to put the wrong gas in your gas tank?  Equip yourself with the best tools so that you can reach your dreams and potential and become all that God wants you to be.

  Don't be defined by the world around you.  Don't let your past weigh you down.  Be encouraged always.  God is in control.  He loves you dearly.

  You can do all things through Him.  Reach for the very best smile and let God take care of the rest.

The Gift Of Hope

  Krista looked at the calendar hanging near her and thought for a moment.  She knew that a very special event was coming soon.  It was her best friend Dana's birthday.

But this one was a little more special than normal.  The two friends grew up together.  But this would be the first time that they have been apart since Dana left for college.

Krista could not think of anything that would tell her friend how much she means to her.  She went through the hours of each day praying and asking God for guidance.

Krista looked forward to her pals letter each month.  She thought maybe it would spark some ideas.  But when Dana's letter didn't come for the first time, she became frightened.

Krista immediately called her friend.  She was worried when she found out she was quite ill.  She quickly made arrangements to go and be with her.

While she was the there, she cooked and cleaned her apartment for her.  She also went to monitor her classes and take notes.

As she watched Dana slowly get better, she breathed a sigh of relief.  But she noticed the date when she looked at the calendar.

Krista bowed her head.  She told her dear friend with a tear in her eye that she sorry she didn't get her something for her birthday.

Dana just looked at her.  She smiled brightly.  "Don't you know that you gave me the greatest gift of all?"  She said.

"You gave me the gift of hope.  That is the greatest gift of all!'  Krista thought about all of the beautiful gifts from the Bible from God's precious heart.

She gave Dana a Bible and led her to the Lord.  Krista had found the perfect gift.  Another soul accepted Jesus.  His love shines even more!

True Beauty

Look at things through the window of the heart so true,
For the heart can envision better than the eyes
Let peace, clarity, and happiness govern you
And help you to see the best that is good and wise.

Look for a light that shines so brilliantly in me,
Yet, you can see it all with purity and love
Going beyond the imperfections there may be
And seeing true hope like our great Father above.

You'll see a heart that is kind and caring at best,
Who tries to show God's true love in everything
Someone who enjoys life to the fullest with zest
And counts her blessings with each moment that life brings.

That is exactly what the moments of time are like.  They are fragile grains of sand and precious gifts that are in the Lord's hands.

That is why every moment is so important.  Give thanks to God every time you see another 🌅 sunrise.

Don't let worry stress or fear govern who you are.  Give your heavy concerns over to God and leave them.

The sad part about our society is that we are very commercially oriented.  For so many the holidays fit that description.

Yet the greatest 🎁 gift was given to all of us.  It is priceless yet is given freely.  It is the gift of pure love through the gift of God's only Son Jesus.

So what gift or gifts can we give?  The gift of perfect love and joy.  We can let the light of God's power shine in so many ways.

     Have you ever searched frantically for your keys and discovered you can't find them?  This is especially tramatic when you are trying to get into your residence.  Having the right key to open the right door is extremely important.

     But, have you ever thought of this with respect to every day life?  We all have various doors if you will along the pathway that we must travel on this journey.  Yet, finding the right key can seem almost impossible.

   So, what is the solution?  When you stop and reflect upon the idea that God is the God of the universe and has complete control, that should answer it.  

   It is through the portal of prayer that our hearts have a lifeline of hope and promise to His precious heart.  So, we must make important time to pray and come before His throne.

  We bring everything to Him and know that He will take care of it.  He will do it in His way and timing.  It will be for our good and His glory.  He always wants the best for us.

My heart beholds the breathtaking beauty of another day.....

As I realize just how, by your grace, I am truly blessed.
