The Most Precious Gift Of All      Whenever we think of Easter, what is the first thing that comes to mind?  Most people would probably say baskets and bunnies that they need to buy for their kids.  But, what is the real meaning of Easter?      Another name for Easter is Resurrection Day.  It is all about the most beautiful gift that God gave to us - his son.  He sent his son Jesus to die upon the cross so that our sins would be forgiven.      Can you think of a more precious gift than that?  Do you know of any father who would sacrifice his own son?  The answer is no.  Jesus then was resurrected back to the father's side.      So, here is an idea.  Instead of buying bunnies and baskets, have story time.  You could not possibly imagine the amount of money that parents spend on the holiday.  Put that money away for college.  Tell children the true meaning of ...

A fictional short story Katie's Mission      Katie walked into the room, sat down, and began to cry.  Suddenly, the door slowly creaked open.  She could hear footsteps approaching her.  A thin, cold hand slowly touched her shoulder.     As she looked up, her friend Morgan was standing by her.  She handed her a tissue and tried to console her.  "Are you okay?"  Morgan asked.  "Yes, thank you."  Katie said.  "I just don't know why Krista is so angry with me."      "Don't let it bother you."  Morgan said.  "We all love you dearly."  Katie adored her new job as a teacher.  She made so many new friends and had great plans to make a difference with her students.      But, she couldn't seem to be friends with Krista.  Krista always spoke to her in a cruel and degrading manner.  She tried to start fights with her and spread rumors about her. ...
