As The Weather Changes

I can see the weather changing and sometimes it perplexes me 

There are questions that sometimes fill my heart I have no answers to 

An environment of disarray exists as far as the eyes can see 

Yet, no one seems to know anything or even has a clue 

Sometimes I feel so sad and down, feeling like I want to cry

I seem alone and filled with fear not knowing what is best 

Thinking about my failures and problems as each day passes by

I really don't have strength to continue and have lost my zest 

But then I could feel a tender warmth so deep within my soul 

It almost seemed like a sweet voice was gently whispering to me 

Then, a glorious sense of belonging was making me feel whole 

I realized I was receiving Your anointing so perfectly 

You layed Your hands upon my shoulders and smiled so big and bright 

Telling my heart to never be discouraged or dismayed 

You will take care of everything with Your anointing and might 

For Jesus, You are the promise and hope and the only way 

Please Forgive Me Jesus

Please teach me to prioritize the important things to hold close every day 

Show me how to focus my attention on love's glory and happiness 

Place Your hands upon my shoulders, direct me and show me the way 

Forgive me for my ignorance and by Your grace show me how to be my best

I take a step out with great uncertainty as I look at everything around me 

Sometimes I cannot see clearly and don't understand the reason or even what is in store

I have to wonder the reason why I am searching and if there is more 

Your precious 💞 love stops me overflowing with miracles there for me 

An overflow of Your grace bringing unique blessings that are always there

When the pathway becomes obscure and the weather 🌡️ changes in complexity 

My heart ❤️ feels stressed out 😔 worse than ever before 

Many inconsistencies work to take hold upon me 

My spirit searches for energy and happiness 😊 with great delight even more.

When the pathway becomes cold ❄️ and without purpose or plan 

My heart searches for something wonderful that shows without doubt success is in sight 

It is then when I see Your breathtaking miracle in the unfolding of Your hands 

As You reveal Your greatest mercy, patience and understanding with great might 

As the pathway comes to a crossroads, it is there where Your greatest power is there to meet me 

You give me Your love's armor and everything wonderful from Your heart so true 

It is then when I am made complete and perfect for eternity 

Lord, when I need structure and stability there is no other source but You

Some of them make absolutely no real sense right now to me 

But the direct truth is what I seek in everything I do

For the power of Your sweet mercy to help me with such might

You tell me to sing praises to our bond and how much we have and always will share 

And always try no matter what to look up and keep my focus on You

What do I do when I am stuck in a corner and envision no way out that I can see 

Everyone has ignored me and turned their back with hatred and utter dismay

I feel so useless and hopeless that the utter end is coming soon just for me 

I don't think I will ever see the light of promise or of a new day.

I don't see any plan or purpose for my being here or doing much of anything 

When I look at myself all that I can see is an empty canvas look at me 

I don't see any substance to each moment or what the days might bring 

So my heart is ready to give up and quit ready to sink down permanently.

But that is when the light of Your love comes shining through with a wonder so bright and grand 

Suddenly I am not completely stuck in the darkest corner with fear anymore 

For You have come to show me direction and miracles by one move of Your hands 

Assuring me not to lose hope and giving me peace for there are great things now in store.

I may not see the story You're writing or the map that You have laid out too

But it's going to be something wonderful for many hearts to know Your touch 

You present excellence in the essence of all the miracles You do

Showing that You are magnificent and mighty and that You always care so much.

I can feel the warmth of a caring hand reaching out for me now in a great way

My deepest concern is falling short of what You see for me.

To not be able to measure up to what You now expect 

I worry about my mistakes and failures so nervously 

It's hard for me to comprehend or determine what's next.

But then I can hear a voice so softly whisper in my ear

My forgiveness and mercy will cover it all completely 

You are my breathtaking creation the I hold so dear 

Recall that You are and will always be the greatest part of me.

It was at that point my tears stopped and I said 'help me more '

You showed me I was forgiven and a new life had begun

You are my light of hope and promise until the day is done.

So I raised my head and took Your hands not knowing what I would find 

My deepest concerns were quickly replaced by perfect peace so true 

You are my tranquility for spirit, body, soul and mind

Kingdom Joy was being restored through Your love in all I do.

I was being made into a star for Your Kingdom, more and more...

As new blessings were being developed by Your majestic hands 

My heart could not wait to see all of the wondrous things in store 

And the beautiful outcomes of Your most Heavenly new plans.

Suddenly a screen of hope was being aired with urgency.....

I was being rebirthed and becoming more and more like You 

Looking at Your presence and in Your will is where I should be

The Little Metal Box

Jesus.....

It's small and compact, made from love's beauty and gentle, sweet grace 

Simple, plain, and pleasant to look at, yet, complex too

It didn't have any compartments and was lacking on space.

Yet, it could hold many components that would have to pass through.

It had no detail or intrinsic value outside at all 

Yet, it was worth more than the mind or the heart could ever contain 

It is available at any time when the spirit calls, 

and tries to help lessen the pain.

It is an instrument for a heart that's strong on faith and trust.....

Knowing without a doubt that You are there and always in control 

Resting on a great bond and real prayer life which is a strong must

To having a Christian walk that is wholesome, complete and whole.

It is very simple and straightforward to follow and see.....

You place all needs and concerns in the box and seal it really tight 

And in Your minds eye place it before You Lord so perfectly 

Knowing that You would have it forever in Your mighty sight.

There is no need to worry or concern for it anymore.....

For You would take care of every need and worry so true 

Then return it refreshed and restored to my waiting heart's core 

Open and overflowing with miracles that came from You.

Now, I didn't have to be concerned so healing took its place....

And I have an even powerful connection Lord to thee

My Breathtaking Jacket Of Life

My Jesus....

I take only a few steps and I can feel the altering, bitter cold ❄️ all around me...

It takes hold of all of the delight within me as I tremble, 🥶 shiver and shake 

I start to fill with fear and doubt as pure uncertainty is all I see

How could I continue on when there wasn't much more of this that I could feel and take.

Suddenly, tears began to stream from my eyes as I fell to my knees with many cares.....

I didn't know which way to turn or what I was going to do to move and succeed

Just then, I could hear a whisper when there wasn't much more that I could bear

I didn't pay much attention in my pain, I only wanted to soon be free.

The whisper became louder calling my name with a power so mighty and grand.....

I stopped and tried to listen all that I could as I shivered so mightily 

I could feel a jacket being placed on my shoulders by two very powerful hands 

As He began to tell me that every part of it was unique and made just for me.

Part of me didn't want to believe that what I was seeing and feeling as ever true....

Yet, the warmth that I was beginning to feel was wonderful and hard to deny

The voice whispered further 'I will be here to take care of you and love you each day through '

I began to fill with tenderness as my eyes filled with tears and I cried.

Each woven square had detail of the person that I am and who I would be....

It had the story of the bond we would share every moment and each day through 

At that point, I fell to my knees and gave thanks for such grace happily 

As He lifted me up and continued the love 💕 story with hope and grandeur so true.

As I looked at the jacket, it was even more breathtaking than ever before...

I rededicated my heart and life to Him and everything for each new day 

For whenever I need special love and care I just look within at my heart's core 

I will never feel cold ❄️ and alone because my breathtaking jacket is not far away!

When I Reach Out For Your Hands

My Jesus...

The wind seems to be blowing with such power and might all around me 

Fear and uncertainty are now taking a deeply powerful hold 

Having all of this confusion there is not much more that I see

I begin looking for real answers and tranquil peace for my heart untold.

I look up amidst all the noise and there You are reaching for me 

There is a beautiful smile of understanding upon Your face 

You call and ask me to come to You so bravely

Your arms are open wide ready to take me into Your embrace.

I try to step out calling upon everything that I can with strength so true 

I look around and the fear inside of me starts to take its place 

I begin to lose that brilliant light that is strong from You 

And a look of fear and doubt slowly begin to fill my face.

At that moment, You raise Your sweet arms and the wind begins to slow 

Your most beautiful smile and hope radiate everywhere 

Through all glory there's something that You definitely want me to know 

You will always take care of me with a promise that's always there.

I begin to start again and make my journey to You 

This time I can feel a deep force of love so grand 

You reach out more powerfully with great tools that will now see me through 

And I can make it through by the power of Your hands.

So when the wind begins to blow strongly in my direction again 

Together I don't have to be afraid but make it by true grace 

I can face all elements with my Savior and true friend 

All fear is disappearing as You put it in its place.

One Step Beyond The Humanity Of The Heart ❤️

My Precious Jesus.....

As I take another step there is a great junction ahead of me...

Each one path is so diverse and quite challenging along the way 

I look into my heart trying to find something good to see

But, instead I find complexity to start out the new day.

As I take another step every moment is losing ground....

I don't see anything really good and sensible to do

My strongest sense for reasoning is suddenly not so sound 

I yearn for sources to give me direction and see me through.

As I take another step You begin whispering to me...

Telling me to listen carefully so clearly from the start 

No matter where I'm going, one step ahead is where you'll be 

You are the breathtaking, beautiful sweet lighthouse of my heart.

As I take another step I must listen with hope so pure...

And a strong decision to follow Your will so completely 

You will give me the great strength I need to continue and endure 

Lord when I seek Your anointing You're one step ahead of me. 

As I take another step, the humanity takes control 

Confusing me even more about how to clearly get through 

That's when Your power takes over and makes me complete and whole 

Before I take any steps I learn to look up and seek You!

Jesus, Please Teach My Heart To Say 'I Know '

My Savior...

Sometimes I feel like I am trapped in a corner with no place else to go 

Things look so dismal and discouraging and fading quite so fast 

I look at all the 'what if's', with no positive outcome to show 

My happiness and true sense of peace at this time will never last.

The 'what if's' become 'what will I do ' when the worse thoughts become real 

It seems like no one cares when I am facing a coming storm's wrath 

So the stress of burdens and lost sleep is all that I can feel 

As I fuss and worry riddled with fear thinking about my path.

But then a gentle voice tries to call out with a message to me.....

My heart is enraged and struggling for true direction at its best 

I continue to look at it all with no solution to see

My heart ❤️ becomes so very tired and just simply wants to rest.

Just then, I can feel a soft, sweet gentle touch in my heart so true...

'Please Stop ', You then say 'I have a lesson that I want you to see'

'I want you to learn two perfect words in all that you may do '

And you gave those two simple words 'I Know ' especially to me.

The 'what if's' are not in charge anymore and are being taken away...

The 'I Knows' are dominating and making everything complete 

As You teach me 'let go', and lean completely upon Your way 

I will slowly begin to smile 😊 as I lay it at Your feet.

'I Know' that You are on the throne and always there when I need You...

'I Know' that You are in command and make all things great and restored

So I need to replace 'what if' with 'I Know' in all that I do 

It is then my heart ❤️ will find peace and never struggle anymore.

Lord, Protect Me From The Rain

Jesus...

The rain ☔ is beginning to fall heavier now and it frightens me 

I don't want to be destroyed by such brutal nature before long

It's destroying all that I am and trying to control completely

My heart ❤️ begins to cry out yearning for someone to hear my song.

I could feel something covering me yet there was nothing nearby 

I looked and felt dismayed when my aspirations soon fell through 

Such yearning for hope and promise made my heart ponder and cry 😢 

In fear of destruction and dismay I didn't know what to do.

Suddenly, I could hear a whisper so gentle calling to me 

Please don't try to deal with this burden or face tremendous real fear 

For I am always with you and in total control perfectly 

You need only whisper my great name and I will always be near.

'You seem so far away ', I replied 'And not really in control '

But you try to figure things out and do things within Your own right 

Just look to me in total to make you complete and whole 

Let me work out everything and take care of it all in my might.

I will defend you, protect you and make a way that you can't see

All the time strengthening you and blessing you with my love 💕 and grace 

Just place yourself in my holy care and trust me implicitly 

Then rest and take great comfort spending time with me in my embrace!

When I Step Out In The Snow

Savior 

When I step out in the snow and it's much colder than I can bear 

Every part of me is shivering as I have no shield it's true 

I reach out for Your strength and love to surround me with warmth and care 

Lord I need Your rugged power to lift me up and see me through.

Just then, I see Your smile as You wrap me in Your sweet embrace 

All of the terrible chill and shivering begins to slow down 

At that moment I look up and see a precious smile on Your face 

Suddenly peace, assurance and perfect love begin to abound.

Great warmth and beauty surround me as I wear Your armor strong

The cold is no longer an issue and doesn't bother me anymore 

I can conquer anything when I hold Your hand and to You belong

I am bold in power when I have Your joy and peace at my heart's core.

Lord I Want To Show You How Much You Mean To Me

Jesus 

When I think about all of the times You have been there for me through out the moments of my days 

You always had Your sweet arm around me even though I may not have realized it at the time 

You gave me Your love and grace and so many wonderful provisions in various ways 

It was always with a smile and great understanding and a caring nature sweet and kind.

You have given so much of Yourself from Your heart to Your spirit and always abundantly 

Always ready to teach with patience and understanding and bless me from Your heart so true 

Helping me to develop Your traits with determination and motivation so consistently 

My Savior the greatest impression of who I am and who I want to be comes from You.

Lord Jesus I want to show You how much You mean to me with every fiber of who I am 

Our relationship is my breath of life that I always keep myself focused upon with delight 

Whenever I see Your anointing and the movement of Your great power I know that I can 

I want to say thank you for always being there and praise You with my might.

Lord Help Me To Increase My Faith

Help me to increase my faith with a joy and certainty 

Looking up to You for enrichment and perfect delight 

Getting boosts of strength and endurance for the best of me 

Someone who works hard and is always pleasing in Your sight.

Help me to increase my love so that I am just like You 

Never judgemental but always forgiving and caring in deed

Having a dynamic and determination right and true 

Finding me so devoted and focused on my knees 

Help me to increase my care so that I am like You even more 

A beautiful light for others to always touch and see 

My Savior look at me to rebuild and always restore 

For I live and serve You for eternity!

You are the grand fulfillment that I need more of every day 

The beautiful peace that mends every part together perfectly 

That special and caring adoration that helps me in every way 

To be a light for Your Kingdom and shine so wonderfully.

You are the grand fulfillment that I yearn for with all of my might 

The breathtaking light of glory that shapes me to my very core 

I work hard with all hope to be so beautiful in Your sweet sight 

Savior I am yearning for Your Majesty and so much more.

You are the grand fulfillment that makes my life full and so complete 

When I look all around me there is nothing that will ever do 

As I kneel with all submission to sing praises at Your feet 

My Savior You are my everything that I will hold on to.

What Do I Do?

What do I do when the conflict becomes too heavy for me to bear

I can feel such heaviness taking over and burdening me 

My heart begins to feel drained and empty like no one really cares 

And my vision becomes blocked and clouded where I can hardly see.

I begin to pace in such disarray not knowing where to go 

Everyone turns their back and walks away fast without care 

My greatest fear and uncertainty start to surface and now show 

I really don't have any powerful strength that I can truly spare.

But then I get down on my knees and cry out for love and mercy 

Trying to get down before Your most graceful throne so real and true 

That is when in awe something most wonderful I begin to see

Just how close You are to me with devotion every moment through.

You lift me up and hold me tight so close to Your presence most grand 

That sweet love begins to strengthen me with love and tranquility 

It is then I realize I don't have to look but just take Your hand 

And through Your anointing I will have my vision with clarity.

The Song Of Life

When Your love begins to surround me and enrich everything so

In the morning 🌄 I cry out for Your breathtaking beauty to start the day 

And equip me with all that I will need to do what You want me to do 

To give me an extra vantage point every moment along the sweet way 

Because I am so closely tied to the wonder and goodness that is You 

In the afternoon I cry out for Your great and rugged, unchanging wisdom 

That will keep me in Your will and on the right path so perfectly 

Working hard but along the rugged pathway making sure to have some fun
