A Prayer For Peace

Father:

We welcome the power of your healing presence to flow mightily,

 and begin to heal the brokenness and divisions in our great land

Awaken the beauty of this nation with a love so perfectly,

mold and shape a wonderful new creation with your great and mighty hands.

 Fill every mind and heart with the light of your love and glory so true,

help us all to see with the purity of your presence and sweet care

and live with understanding and brotherhood, as only you would do,

Our hearts cry out to you, Lord, to help us get this great nation repaired.

May every heart join together, right now, as one nation serving you

Unite us as a people and take us to a new and brighter day

Knowing that each one of us is unique and special in all we do.
