     Rick thought that he would find the answers he had been searching for.  But, all that he found was more questions.  "There's nothing...no other tests that can be done gentlemen"  he asked.

     "No,"  The one man answered.  "There are experimental studies that we can consider".  "Yes", The other man answered.  "But, you must understand that there are no guarantees.  The likelihood of success is small at best".

     Rick could feel a sudden wave of anger fill him.  He rose from the chair and began gathering his things.  "Thank you, gentlemen.  You may leave.  I am going home".  He proclaimed.

     "We highly advise against it"  They stated.  "Goodbye!"  He responded.  As they left, Rick began to pack.  Tears streamed down his face.

The port of wonder and precious grace

     Take a moment to recall the one most special and beautiful gift that you have ever received.  It was something that greatly touched your heart and blessed you, especially with warm memories throughout the years.

     Perhaps you were the recipient of a new best friend, a favorite toy, or even a perfect, shared moment.  Maybe you can't pinpoint just one special gift - like me.

     Some of the greatest gifts are Godly, Christ-centered parents, and a personal relationship with an amazing Savior.  Godly Christ-centered parents are a blessing and an instrument of hope that instill the seed of love in a young life from the beginning.

     It is an exquisite partnership of promise where under God's guidance they continue to help nurture that love and watch it bloom and grow brighter with time.  But, with the passage of time, that beauty becomes even more refined, exclusive, and personally tailored.

     The love is like an eternal light house.  The wonder of God's presence works through that light to do mighty and magnificent things.  There are precious tools and instruments like gifts and talents, strength, endurance, and faith.

     Gifts and talents are the blessings bestowed lovingly from God's heart, uniquely designed for each person.  Strength is the reaffirmation of his power to help with every footstep of the journey.

     Endurance is the courage or motivation to never give up.  Faith is the assurance or the comfort that he will always be there and not to worry.  The greatest expression of appreciation for the gift is to allow it to grow even further.

     Open the heart and life and allow the light of the precious love to bless others.  This can be accomplished in many ways or simply through representation - letting others see that light and learning from it.

     Opportunity may then present itself to plant that seed of love and hope into another heart.  There's no complexity about it.  It could be as simple as giving someone a cold drink of water.

     So, beauty that moves mountains is the genuine gift of love that continues to give and grow.  It all starts with one precious gift from an awesome Savior and two Godly parents.  Give thanks for them today.  Happy Father's Day!

SEGMENT THIRTEEN

     RICK'S HEART WAS DISTRESSED AND BURDENED.  HE TRIED TO GATHER HIMSELF AND SILENTLY ASKED GOD FOR STRENGTH, KNOWING THAT HE HAD TO LEARN A LOT MORE OF THE IMPORTANT FACTS.

     "PLEASE CONTINUE AND INFORM ME", HE SAID TO THE MEN.  "AS I WAS TRYING TO SAY", THE ONE MAN REPLIED.  "YOUR CONDITION IS RARE AND A MAJOR CONCERN".

     "IS THERE ANYTHING THAT CAN BE DONE?  TRIALS?  ANYTHING?" RICK ASKED WITH CURIOSITY.  "WE KNOW OF NOTHING AT PRESENT" THE OTHER MAN ANSWERED.  "YOU MUST GET YOUR AFFAIRS IN ORDER.

     RICK SWALLOWED HARD.  JUST THEN, THERE WAS A LARGE BOLT OF WHAT SOUNDED LIKE LIGHTNING.  BUT IT COULDN'T BE.  THE LIGHTS WENT OUT.  RICK CLUTCHED THE CHAIR AND SILENTLY PRAYED AS FEAR SWEPT OVER HIM.

Cleaning Out The Cob Webs

The Port of Restoration and New Beginnings

     There are many things that seem tedious and annoying in life.  Some may be obvious to define.  Others may be a personal feeling or interpretation.  But, it is safe to say, without a doubt, that one of those issues is cleaning.  Now, there may be those who enjoy the in depth process.

     After all, what is that old saying:  'cleanliness is near Godliness?'  This is perfectly true.  But, it is not exactly the example of fun.  There are many different genre of cleaning.  There's the literal definition which means attempting to improve the physical condition or appearance of something.

     There is also the spiritual aspect.  So, what does this refer to?  This can be pinpointed into one word 'burden'.  Life is too short.  Every day is a sacred, beautiful, and precious gift from God.  Every heart knows that life is not perfect.

     It can be a diverse array of complicated caverns and crossroads.  But, it is how the journeyman prepares that equips him for travel.  Consider for a moment the contents of his armor.  The mind is a beautiful garden where the master gardener, God, plants his tender and fragile seeds.

     These seeds are destined to be cultivated and grow into victorious instruments that will be needed for the journey such as dreams and aspirations.The heart is an exquisite light house where the master creator instills the fountain of his hope and the light of his love.

     This is not only to guide and bless the journeyman's heart, but, to empower an instrument to bless others by his grace. So, how does cleaning fit in to all of this?  Well, let's face it.  We are all human.  We become bogged down by those caverns and crossroads that we face on the journey.

     It is then that we become engulfed by heavy burdens that bring anguish to the brain and discomfort to the heart.  When this happens, it becomes increasingly difficult to enjoy the awesome beauty of life and the incredible blessing of God.

     So, what can be done?  It's time for cleaning out the cob webs.  The tools of  faith, prayer, positive determination and love are what's needed to begin the process.  Consider all that you are carrying.  Now, pretend that you are opening a large box.  Pray, place all of your concerns in there, and lay them before God's throne.

     Ask him to take control of it all and relinquish it forever.  It is then, with his help, that you remove them or wash them out forever by his grace.  You know that he will take care as he always has.

     Why do you want to try and do the impossible when an expert is always available at no cost?  So, close your eyes, pledge your cooperation, and dial 1-800- JSUS-CAN.  It is then by his precious blood that the cobwebs begin to disappear, and new growth takes root.

     This is a cleaning job like no other.  But, when it is complete, the journey can begin stronger, better, and brighter than ever before.

Segment 12

     Rick slowly opened his eyes and found himself on the floor with the two peculiar gentlemen standing over him.

     "Are you okay?"  The first gentleman asked.  "What...what happened?"  Rick slowly inquired.

     The two gentlemen helped him to his feet.  "We were trying to discuss things with you".  The other said.  "You must try to increase your attentiveness and listen".

     Rick sat back on the chair and rubbed his face.  "Go ahead".  He proclaimed with hesitation.  The one gentleman pulled the chair closer to him and pointed to some charts.

     "You have a very rare condition".  He stated with grave disappointment in his voice.  Rick didn't want to hear the rest.  He swallowed hard and knew that he had to listen. 

A Faithful Heart Is A Continued Blessing

A heart that yearns to be faithful makes the greatest decision that can ever be hoped for

     Have you ever heard the saying 'I give you my word'?  Whenever someone said this to you, you probably got a warm sense of brotherhood inside.  Why is this so?  It is a sign that the person is giving you their pledge from a devoted or faithful heart.  It's an assurance that the wonderful thing stated or foretold will occur.

 

     But, what is a faithful heart?  Why is it important to be one?  A faithful heart is one that has faith as its core value, and truth as its powerful foundation.  It is dedicated to what is important and what it holds dear - honesty, genuineness in spirit, and uniqueness in its greatest form.

 

     Why is it important to be a faithful heart?  There is another saying 'always put your best forward'.  The definition is a representation of the person that you hope to be and you desire others to see.  It is a positive literal drawing of the character that others have no other way to realize but through the pages of the heart.

 

     But, there are different degrees of a faithful heart:  1.  faithful relative 2.  faithful romantic interest 3.  faithful friend 4.  faithful citizen.  Each category is the same with its own variations.  A faithful relative is not only someone who is related to you, but, also a heart that you can rely upon and trust.

 

     A faithful romance is the epic definition of genuine love.  It is a true pledge of devotion from another heart that will never expire.  A faithful friend is a true buddy.  It is someone that you can always rely upon, and who will always be there.  A faithful citizen is a general term to which many genres can apply.  But, collectively, it can be termed as being a genuine, productive, and pure heart, a light by which others can look to and model their own heart.

 

     So, why should the journeyman be concerned about a faithful heart?  A faithful or genuine heart is a successful journey.  Always put forth your best, and let God take care of the rest.  A journey with a faithful heart is a light of promise that beautifies, grows, and blesses.

 

     It is an inspiration that is a mentor-like hope to other hearts to strive to achieve excellence.  The journey is important.  The journeyman should strive to put the most good into every step.  It all begins with two very important seeds of strength:  faith and truth.
