The Greatest Gift      Okay so what is the greatest gift that you can give someone?  It is a gift that keeps on giving.  It is priceless, yet is inexpensive to give.  It can touch a person's life and bring great light into their world.    The gift is kindness.  Sometimes this may be very hard to think about.  Suppose someone treats you badly.  For example, they say something about you that you know is not correct.   So what would the natural human reaction to them be?  It would probably be anger and hurt.  But, suppose you show kindness to them instead?  Think about that for a moment.  Perhaps it would change their frame of thinking.   I am referring to a perfect kindness based upon God's amazing love.  This means being kind to those we know, don't know, and those we would like to forget.   God wants us to love everyone as He loves us.  We must forgive because we are ...

The Happiness Factor      One thing that most people try to get the most of is happiness.  But, their efforts are not always successful.  This is because they try to find pure happiness in all the wrong places.  Some people try to find it in their standing in life or material things.  Others try to find it in wealth or job standing or other people.    There is only one source of pure happiness.  This can only come from God's heart through a personal life long relationship with Him.  Everything wonderful and perfect comes from His amazing hands of love.   This is the kind of happiness that fills you completely - mind, body, soul, and spirit.  It is always strong and always there.  It never faulters because of worldly things or people.     So how do you attain this great happiness?  Invite the Lord into your heart and life, live for Him and serve Him.  He will be your foundation....

The Most Difficult Effort      So, if you were asked the following question, how would you answer it?  What is the one hardest concept that most people find difficult to achieve.  Think about it for just a moment.  We live in a fast paced society.  People want what they want, and quickly.   The concept that I am speaking of is patience.  Some people find this difficult to attain in their lives.  Yet, there are others who believe they have it and they don't.   Consider these scenarios for a moment.  Have you ever been in line and there is an elderly person in front going very slow?  Would something like this cause you inner frustration?  We are all human.  The answer is yes.   But, real patience is like a beautiful wave of cool air on a blistery summer day.  It brings refreshment, restoration and breathtaking insight.   Okay, so where does it all begin?  Remember that ...

     Okay, so here is an odd question.  How important is it to have all of the proper ingredients in place for a firm foundation?  Have you ever watched a cement walkway being built?  What would occur if there wasn't enough water, and if all of the ingredients were not present?  If you tried to walk on such a pathway you wouldn't be standing for very long.   Now think about this question in terms of the pathway of life.  The pathway can be complex and challenging to say the least.  There can be many things that will try to deter you and change the person that you are.   If you don't have a firm foundation in knowing who you are and what you believe in, how strong will your footsteps be?  Even when you are a believer in the Lord, factors will try to deter what you believe.   Do you have a close bond with the Lord?  Are you standing on the firm foundation of His love and presence, strong in your relationship?...
