Okay, so here is an odd question.  How important is it to have all of the proper ingredients in place for a firm foundation?  Have you ever watched a cement walkway being built?  What would occur if there wasn't enough water, and if all of the ingredients were not present?  If you tried to walk on such a pathway you wouldn't be standing for very long.

  Now think about this question in terms of the pathway of life.  The pathway can be complex and challenging to say the least.  There can be many things that will try to deter you and change the person that you are.

  If you don't have a firm foundation in knowing who you are and what you believe in, how strong will your footsteps be?  Even when you are a believer in the Lord, factors will try to deter what you believe.

  Do you have a close bond with the Lord?  Are you standing on the firm foundation of His love and presence, strong in your relationship?  If the answer is yes, the next time you take a step, His will be near you.

  If the answer is no, please seek Him today.  It is so important to have that powerful firm foundation.
