Jesus...

When You see my tears and the brokenness so true...

I know that You hurt to see me suffering so 

You reach out with compassion that only comes from You 

As the chance for healing and restoration now grow.

You wrap me in Your warm embrace and tender sweet care..

And instill within me a strength I need and much more 

Suddenly, a light appears to show that You are there 

I begin to understand that great things are in store.

My tears slowly begin to dry to my sweet delight..

I'm feeling better like someone that is made brand new 

Jesus, thank You for loving me with all of Your might 

I send my greatest thanks with my heart's praise unto You!

One Step Behind Forever

My Jesus...

As I ponder the steps to take upon the pathway every day...

I look at the horizon and think about it all so carefully 

My heart yearns for prospective and guidance from You, Lord in special ways 

I want You to lead and manage every moment carefully.

I want the light of Your love to be near me no matter what or where...

I want Your footsteps to be all around me always guiding me through 

I need to feel Your power and peace like a shield that is always there 

Jesus, I want my footsteps to be behind Yours in all I do.

I dedicate all that I am to You to serve You with happiness...

In The Shadow Of Jesus

Precious Savior...

I yearn to be a picture of all goodness that comes from You...

Yet sometimes it is so truly difficult beyond compare 

I need Your great wisdom and understanding to see me through 

Sometimes I don't have that perfect love and kindness to share.

Living is so truly difficult and trying every day...

Some people can be so cruel and nasty at its best 

So my spirit looks to Your sweet gentle heart to make a way 

And show me the real meaning of joy and happiness.

I ask You to begin an amazing work with delight...

Help me to overcome my shortcomings with such glee

When Clouds Begin To Gather

Jesus...

When clouds begin to gather, and fear tries to enter my heart's core...

Every part inside of me feels so stressed out and broken, too

I feel alone as I search for my happiness to be restored 

My heart searches for more hope and promise for every day to see me through.

Just then, I see a glimmer of light getting stronger to my eyes...

I can feel a warmth at the center of my heart with delight 

Suddenly, I did not feel so alone to my wondrous surprise 

As I rose to my feet with such strength, courage, and wonderful might.

Jesus, Your wonderful love began to embrace me with grace and care...

All at once,  the clouds began to slowly fade and wither away 

You showed me with grace that Your sweet anointing is always right there 

You make sure that no clouds could ever dim any one of my days!

The Greatest Success

Jesus...

The greatest success my heart could ever imagine is to live for You...

I want to give praise and Thanksgiving to You with every step I take 

To tell everyone that I can all of the great things that You do 

And how my Savior loves and adored me and does all things for my sake.

The greatest success my heart could ever imagine is to live my Savior's purpose with delight...

To be everything that He envisions me to be with strength and courage too

Having the one and only special goal of being so pleasing in His great sight 

Watching as He plants more wonderful things within me with goals of great things to do.

To see the unfolding of His great hands and all of the mighty things that have begun 

To have the certain assurance that no matter what or where He will always make a way

Faith-Filled Eyes

My Savior..

I want to be able to see clearly with my heart in every way...

To see things as only You can see them with truth and faith extraordinare 

Please give me the wisdom and understanding to do this every day 

My Savior, please let me feel Your perfect love that is pure, most holy and rare.  

I want to see clearly with my spirit and know Your mighty command..

When I Take Your Hands

When the pathway seems so cold ❄️ and narrow along the way...

I want to give up because I don't see purpose that is true 

And I feel alone and empty as I face each new day 

You are always there with me as I try to make it through.

You reach out Your hands of love as I try to hold on tight...

Yet, there are those times that feel like You aren't even there 

That's when I become even more bolder in Your sight 

You cover me with Your sweet grace and peace to show You care.

You embrace me and fill me with Your anointing so true..

Giving me hope and strength to make it with such great success 

That is when I feel a sense of divine purpose from You 

Your heart will work everything out for my very best.

When I Ask Why?

Jesus..

Sometimes my heart feels so alone and distant from You in many ways...

I don't understand and try to look forl solutions in my own right 

Yet, you keep

 reaching out to me and enriching each one of my days 

You lift me up and encourage me with all of Your glory and might.

Your presence starts to fill my heart telling me not to worry or fear...

Your mighty glory is in command and will take care of it all

You have me in Your protective embrace and will hold me close and dear 

The greatest of Your sweet power will be there whenever I may call.

Though I feel alone and distant I should reach out for Your love so true...

You will calm me down and in Your unique time help me to see the light 

You will be the great solution that I need to always see me through 

My Lord, I will be okay if I remain steady in Your light.

To lift me up, inspire me and give me all of Your best 

Wrap me in Your arms and hold me with such tender loving care
