The Most Confusing Thing

Jesus....

Sometimes my heart is so troubled I don't know where to turn each day...

I say a prayer but unfortunately I don't hear anything 

I feel alone like Your love and grace are very far away 

My heart is confused and broken I don't know what praying would bring.

Sometimes my heart is so troubled I feel like giving up the fight...

I don't see any hope or peace that helps me carry on 

I continue trying to pray with expectance and all my mighty

However the initial long battle never seems to be won.

Sometimes my heart is so troubled I can't see all things clearly...

Then Your pure love comes in like a beautiful horizon so grand 

You start to heal me and begin full restoration so perfectly 

A new beginning starts to come alive by Your wonderful command

I place every essence of who I am into Your mighty hands today...

Please take the broken pieces and make a masterpiece as only You can

But it always seems to be a very imperfect plan

Nothing seems right when I put a human touch on each day

I need the mighty movement of Your most holiest hands.

When You see my tears and the brokenness so true...

I know that You hurt to see me suffering so 

You reach out with compassion that only comes from You 

As the chance for healing and restoration now grow.

I begin to understand that great things are in store.
