Lord, I'm Hurting

Jesus...

This pain is like a dagger piercing my 💜 heart so perfectly...
It is tearing the essence of who I am or hope for 
I feel like I'm breaking a part with nothing better to see
I just want to give up and not even try anymore.

My spirit feels hopeless with no true goal or purpose in mind...
Sometimes I wonder why I am here or where I am going each day 
 When I reach out for Your arms I feel peace so wondrous and kind 
My soul wants more outpouring of Your power in every way.

Suddenly I feel better than I ever have felt before...
You take my hand and I truly know I am not alone 
My heart takes in all You give me and cries out for much more 
You are the light of my life and my rugged foundation stone!
