Echoes Of Truth

     Okay, so has there ever been a time when you have felt like a complete failure?  You go above and beyond, trying to do the very best that you can.  Yet, you make a mistake.

 All of a sudden, it seems like the wall has fallen, and shattered into a million pieces.  You call yourself stupid and dumb and rip a part at the very heart of every thing wonderful that you are.

 But, wait a minute.  There is one thing to consider here.  You are human.  What does that mean?  You are subject to missteps.

 Just then, the heart begins to cry out in a silent voice for the peace that it once knew.  This is when the mercy of God comes in like a beautiful ray of hope and promise.

 It reveals the amazing light of God's love that outshines all imperfections.  The heart begins to pick up its shattered pieces with God's help.

 There is a sense of inspiration.  Forgiveness becomes the greatest key. The heart begins to rebuild and restructure.  All things start on the path to becoming new again by God's grace.

Reflections

     Okay, so if you think about it for a moment, what is one of the most important words in the English vocabulary?  The important word is NOW.  Why is this the case?  Well, this is because it has a lot of real significance.

     We don't have tomorrow.  It is not guaranteed, at least not in this life.  The past is unimportant.  It is gone and forgiven.  NOW is a beautiful board of promise that has great potential.  We have the potential to tell those that we admire how much they mean to us and how valuable they are.

     This can be done with a few kind words or even a kind act.  But, it is so important.  You may never have another opportunity.  Think about it.  We have the potential to make someone elses life better with a little inspiration, motivation, and encouragement.

     This could be a total stranger.  Do you realize how valuable the kind act of holding a door open for someone means to them?  Sometimes we don't think of that with busy schedules.

     We have the potential to be awesome instruments for the Lord and accomplish the amazing dreams that he has for us.  Some people don't allow themselves to dream.  They look at surroundings and take their eyes away from the Lord.  Dream Big!  You are a beloved child of the most high God.  All things are possible!

     So, the word NOW is everything.  Live in the NOW for Jesus!  Your amazing journey is worth exploring hand in hand with him.  Make the most of every valuable moment of the precious gift of time that he has given to you!  Cherish and value it!

The Chalkboard

     Have you ever discovered an exciting new project and seemed inspired to try it?  You carefully try to summarize everything and gather the information and the parts that you will need.  This can apply to guys and gals alike.

     Yet, no matter how hard that you try to calculate and plan, you discover that the parts are not enough.  Those special points are missing that would absolutely make the mission complete.

     You feel disappointed and confused about what to do next.  Does this scenario sound a little like life?  You think that you have all of the nice little neat pieces that you will need to fit into a perfect picture.

     Yet, things seem so disordered and imperfect.  You have a broken heart from inner hurt that people have caused you.  Your spirit seems so down from disappointments and challenges.

     Suddenly, here comes the voice of reason.  A beautiful hand of hope comes in and begins to erase the unneeded pieces on the chalkboard of life.  He then begins to draw the pieces that are really needed and the perfect instruments to acquire them in time.

     Everything soon starts to look like it is meshing together.  The project begins to take shape upon the chalkboard of life and show something wonderful that the heart can only imagine.  The unnecessary strings of despair are gone.

     Soon, the chalkboard begins to fill with plans to inspire other hearts.  There is happiness.  There is joy.  The lesson plan of the project comes together when you let the teacher God do the instruction.

Beautiful Daydreams

     Have you ever watched someone go hunting?  They set up a large net in the hopes of getting their prey.  Now, let's consider the effect of fear and worry on the journey man's travel.  

     Fear and worry are negative factors.  They come in various forms..through people, situations or circumstances.  It is like a net that is set for the joyful heart of the journey man to try and captivate it and bring it down.

     It can be hard to avoid such snares in humanity's realm.  However, when you ignite your heart with the power of an awesome God that difficulty begins to vanish very quickly.

     His joy delights your heart and his peace brings it such tranquility and assurance.  He is in total control.  When you give your life to him, you don't need to worry or be fearful for anything.

     This is where two positive tools come into play to add to your armor ... faith and trust.  You know that God loves you and will take care of you.  Give everything to him.  Lay it all at his feet.  This includes everything from people, situations, to circumstances.

     Put on your full armor of God.  Take each step within the shadow of his love.  Remember when you feel those negative emotions trying to overwhelm you call out his name and release it.  WALK FORWARD ON YOUR JOURNEY HAND IN HAND WITH HIM IN HAPPINESS AND PEACE!
