The Greatest Gift

     Okay so what is the greatest gift that you can give someone?  It is a gift that keeps on giving.  It is priceless, yet is inexpensive to give.  It can touch a person's life and bring great light into their world.

   The gift is kindness.  Sometimes this may be very hard to think about.  Suppose someone treats you badly.  For example, they say something about you that you know is not correct.

  So what would the natural human reaction to them be?  It would probably be anger and hurt.  But, suppose you show kindness to them instead?  Think about that for a moment.  Perhaps it would change their frame of thinking.

  I am referring to a perfect kindness based upon God's amazing love.  This means being kind to those we know, don't know, and those we would like to forget.

  God wants us to love everyone as He loves us.  We must forgive because we are not perfect ourselves.

  If you don't know the Lord, please consider inviting Him into your heart and life today.  You will be so glad that you did!

NOW GO OUT AND SPREAD THAT KINDNESS TODAY!  MAKE THE WORLD A MORE AWESOME PLACE!

The Happiness Factor

     One thing that most people try to get the most of is happiness.  But, their efforts are not always successful.  This is because they try to find pure happiness in all the wrong places.  Some people try to find it in their standing in life or material things.  Others try to find it in wealth or job standing or other people.

   There is only one source of pure happiness.  This can only come from God's heart through a personal life long relationship with Him.  Everything wonderful and perfect comes from His amazing hands of love.

  This is the kind of happiness that fills you completely - mind, body, soul, and spirit.  It is always strong and always there.  It never faulters because of worldly things or people.  

  So how do you attain this great happiness?  Invite the Lord into your heart and life, live for Him and serve Him.  He will be your foundation.  Just pray this prayer.

  Lord Jesus, I give you my heart, my life, and all that I am.  Please be the Lord and ruler of my life.  I want to know everything perfect that is you.  I will live for you and serve you.

  After that,  you just watch the smile on your face grow richer and brighter.  Remember, share it with others!

The Most Difficult Effort

     So, if you were asked the following question, how would you answer it?  What is the one hardest concept that most people find difficult to achieve.  Think about it for just a moment.  We live in a fast paced society.  People want what they want, and quickly.

  The concept that I am speaking of is patience.  Some people find this difficult to attain in their lives.  Yet, there are others who believe they have it and they don't.

  Consider these scenarios for a moment.  Have you ever been in line and there is an elderly person in front going very slow?  Would something like this cause you inner frustration?  We are all human.  The answer is yes.

  But, real patience is like a beautiful wave of cool air on a blistery summer day.  It brings refreshment, restoration and breathtaking insight.

  Okay, so where does it all begin?  Remember that anything worth having comes from the Lord's heart.  So when His presence and love become dominant in your life, His anointing flows.  He begins to work in every area.

  His presence will bring you that perfect patience.  Do believers ever get impatient?  The answer to that question is yes.  We are not perfect.  But, it is God within us that begins to work and restore us again.

  So, ask the Lord into your life if you haven't done so already.  Ask Him to give you His perfect patience.  It is patience that remains strong and grows stronger.  It brings many other beautiful factors such as peace and joy.

  Pray this prayer:  Lord please come into my life and be my Savior.  Give me your perfect patience and everything wonderful that flows from you.  I want to live for you and serve you.  Amen.

Miracles

     There is something that we all could use at one point or another during our lives.  What is this you might ask?  We could all use miracles.  But, how would you define a miracle?  Do you believe in them?

  Blessings are beautiful gifts of hope and promise that are given with love from the Lord's heart.  They make our lives brighter every day and come in many forms.  

  But, a miracle comes when the impossible becomes possible.  There is only one who can make that happen...the Lord, Himself.  He can bestow love and grace, and open His hands of wonder to make awesome things.

  Do you believe that?  Do you need a miracle?  It all begins with humble prayer, and faith and trust.  If the Lord is your Savior, give everything to Him and rest in Him.

  If you don't know the Lord as your Savior, consider asking Him into your heart today.  It's the greatest thing you can ever do.  He will be your Father, your best friend, and your everything.

  So, try this simple prayer:  Father, I want you to be the Lord of my life.  Come into my heart today.  You know my needs.  I lay them all before you and rest in you.  Amen.

  Stand strong on His foundation.  You will never be disappointed.

The Song Of A Hero

     As we are approaching another Memorial Day, please take a brief moment to answer this important question.  What is a hero?  I am sure that we all have our own special and personal ways of defining that word.

  But, let's take a moment to provide somewhat of a brief, general meaning.  A hero can be someone who 'goes above and beyond to give of themselves and make a difference.'

  We all know of someone who can fit that brief definition.  Perhaps it was a teacher, or your Mom and Dad or a friend that brought special light to your life.  

  This weekend, we want to pay special honor to our military heroes, past and present.  They sacrificed their lives for the preservation of freedom so that we could be free.  God bless them all.

  I want to take a moment and pay special honor to my Dad, who was in the air force.  I send him all of my love.

  But, we have to consider the number one hero for everyone.  He sacrificed so much and gives so much of Himself because He loves us dearly.

  Where would we be without the gift of salvation?  Where would we be without His love, grace, and mercy?  He gave His own life so that we might be forgiven and set free.  Can you think of a better and more beautiful difference than that?

 The ultimate Hero is the Lord.  Is He the Savior of your life today?  If not, please consider taking time to open your heart to Him.  It will be the best choice you make.  Please pray this prayer:  Lord I am inviting you into my heart and life today.  Come now, and take control.  I want to live for you.  Amen.

  So, celebrate the song of the hero in your life.  Be thankful, and tell them how much they mean to you.  But, first, thank the ultimate Hero for all of His blessings and for everything.  Let the warmth of His love fill you richly.

     Okay, so here is an odd question.  How important is it to have all of the proper ingredients in place for a firm foundation?  Have you ever watched a cement walkway being built?  What would occur if there wasn't enough water, and if all of the ingredients were not present?  If you tried to walk on such a pathway you wouldn't be standing for very long.

  Now think about this question in terms of the pathway of life.  The pathway can be complex and challenging to say the least.  There can be many things that will try to deter you and change the person that you are.

  If you don't have a firm foundation in knowing who you are and what you believe in, how strong will your footsteps be?  Even when you are a believer in the Lord, factors will try to deter what you believe.

  Do you have a close bond with the Lord?  Are you standing on the firm foundation of His love and presence, strong in your relationship?  If the answer is yes, the next time you take a step, His will be near you.

  If the answer is no, please seek Him today.  It is so important to have that powerful firm foundation.
