Heartfelt Thoughts      Have you ever had days when you have gotten up, eager to begin your morning?  But, perhaps as you got more into the day, your thoughts might have changed a bit.  Things seem to go a little more in a different direction.  You then begin to wonder why you even got up, or what is your purpose at all.   This is a common feeling in today's dark and rapidly changing world.  Have you ever noticed just how different people are now from say fifty years ago?  There is hardly any more warmth.  People are always in a rush.  Most of the time, they are rude and uncaring.   All that you have to do is turn on the news or pick up a newspaper.  It can bring you down faster than you can imagine.  So what is the answer?  What can you do?   Well, let's stop for a moment and consider the example of someone who has to go to a wedding.  What are some of the things that they do?...

Thought For The Day The greatest playwright in the world has the greatest actors the best props the most beautiful scenery. He has the perfect sense of timing never misses a curtain call and always gets a standing ovation. He has the ideal theme always has the most awesome ending and weaves the plot line with great ease. The playwright is always positive and upbeat His actors know how much they are truly appreciated and adored. The playwright is a master craftsman He is an artistic wonder who always comes out with a prizewinning production. He is loving, caring, considerate kind and always on the job. Do you know his name? JESUS!

As I gaze at the beautiful sunset of a blessing filled day My heart reflects upon each moment of grace so carefully My spirit is uplifted with happiness in a wholesome way Realizing the true gifts of promise that have been given to me. Great thankfulness and gratefulness fill my heart to overflowing Just knowing the genuine value in all things both large and small and the beautiful dreams that a trusting heart of pure faith will bring When I see the true promise and the strong potential of it all. Although I may not know anything about tomorrow's hour There is one thing that I know deep in my heart with all certainty It will be a true horizon of promise with a bright power As I see the real blessing within my heart so positively.

     Here is a question that most of us could probably answer.  Have you ever felt like a failure?  Have you ever had days when, no matter how hard you work and give it your all you seem to get criticized and take ten steps backward?   Do you feel like success is beyond your reach?  Honestly, most of us could answer yes.  But, here is one thing we need to keep in mind.  We need to remember that as humans we are imperfect.   Yes, I said that word.  There is only one definition of perfect and that is Jesus.  The Lord knows our short comings.  But, here is the awesome news!  He loves us just the same!   We can ask for forgiveness and always find it.  It will also be accompanied by mercy, love and grace.  So if the Lord forgives us, why shouldn't we forgive ourselves?  He will help us to grow and develop if we ask him.  We are made perfect through him.   So don't try to be perfe...

     Okay, it is time for each one of us to stop, reflect, and take notice.  There has been so much disarray and anger in our nation.  It is time for us to come together, regardless of our differences and personal opinions.  You may not like our current President.  But, he is our President and deserves our respect and honor.   We must respect our nation and come together as its people, united and peaceful.  Do we see what's happening around our land?  The tragic situations that occur that result in the senseless loss of innocent lives?   Let's join together to pray for peace, love, and the Lord's presence to heal our land.  Everyone please set aside at least ten minutes a day to pray for our nation.   Will you all agree to that?  Let's pray for our leaders, whether you like them or not.  We can make a difference one moment at a time. ******************************* Lord, please heal our land with yo...
