God planted a beautiful rose and nurtured it with much care...
A precious wonder in his garden that brought him such delight
He enriched it with his love and saw something wondrous and rare
An awesome gift of beauty that was so special in his sight.

He decided in his wisdom that there was more to be done.....
This beauty was needed to bring much blessing and promise, too
So, he picked and replanted his joy and something had begun
New beauty began to blossom, and grow with his love, so true.
He was pleased with his creation...so strong, enduring, and bright...
Fulfilling every plan that he had thought of, and so much more
More seeds had been planted and blossomed by its beautiful light
Rare beauty had begun to grow and spread than ever before.
He rejoiced at the blessing that had come in so many ways
and smiled at his creation with a love like no other
For there would be special honor paid, each and every day
Praising the beauty of his precious creation called Mother.
Some day he will have to take his precious bright rose home again
But, until then, he watches with amazement and much joy, too
at his beautiful creation called a mother and a best friend
For with his love there is nothing that a Godly Mom can't do.
