     Rick sat virtually paralyzed in his seat.  He could feel his heart beat growing even more intense as the loud footsteps slowly ventured down the small hallway to his location.  There was an eerie silence.  

     He slid back on his seat and clutched the arm rests with great power.  His mind began to ponder many different scenarios all at once.  But, all of the 'what ifs' in the world had no significance.  He tried desperately to disconnect from the moment.  But, the profound terror that had gripped him so strongly had grounded him in reality.

     Just then, the footsteps stopped.  Rick could hardly manage another breath.  The large black curtain began to creep to the side.  Rick was powerfully overcome with fear.  He could think of no other better thing to do at that moment than pray.

True Beauty Is The Blessed Gift That Defines The Genuine Attributes Of The Journey

A heart that learns to see the genuine value of what really matter finds the meaning of true beauty

 

     There is a common saying about beauty.  Its true definition is in the hands of each individual.  Yet, essentially, this is not really the case at all.  The first step is to examine where the definition is being formed...the vision or the heart.  The heart looks beyond the window of the heart and soul to the genuine aspect of the person.

 

     Looks do not define a person's value and self worth.  It is, however, a combination of things that encompass the total definition.  These characteristics may be listed as follows:  kindness, love, compassion, generosity, joy, happiness, and gentleness, just to name a few.  

 

     It is a person's willingness to think about others, and to use their special gifts and talents to benefit the world around them that shows their true essence.  But, it is not so much having that personable beauty, but, presenting it in the right way that matters.  Doing a kind act for someone and then constantly reminding them of it takes away from the substance of the deed accomplished.

 

     A demonstration of kindness given or presented with nothing expected in return is genuine beauty.  As the journeyman prepares to embark upon the journey, he / she should prepare the heart to exhibit the most genuine points of the definition possible.

 

     Looking at the true beauty of someone means seeing them for who they really are and the person they can grow and become.  It doesn't mean ever judging a person but, accepting and respecting them for the beautiful gift and creation that God developed them to be.

 

     A journeyman grows as an individual when he / she learns to be the best person possible, both inside and out.  It is important to remember one essential fact.  True beauty in its purest form is a looking glass that brightens the world and makes for a better journey.

     Rick stood quietly in the corner of the room.  He gazed out of the window, trying to fight back the tears, watching the snow falling just outside.  He seemed lost in deep concentration.  Yet, the intricate beauty, genuine nature, and fragile quality of each flake seemed of great interest.

     He marveled at God's power.  Rick came to know the Lord just a few years ago.  He believed that the Lord was always there for him.  But, somehow, now he felt so detached and alone.  He felt like he was so far away from the amazing love that he had come to know and depend upon.

     Suddenly, the door slowly creaked open.  Footsteps entered the darkened, quiet room.  Rick could feel such anguish and pounding in his heart.  A real man wasn't supposed to feel this way.  But, he never felt so scared as he did at that moment...........

     What is the most certain realization that seems to be universal?  Nothing in the world is perfect.  Life is like a uniquely planned and beautifully created play by an awesome creator.  The aspects of everything are known at their respective planned time.  All that is truly assured is the moment at hand.  Things may arise at unforeseen times that may not be perceived as favorable to the heart.

 

     There may be moments of great challenge that test the very limits of strength, courage, and patience.  Why do such moments exist, in all truth, in the day to day times of the journey?  As things vary off course from what is considered to be the 'comfort zone' of life stress and discomfort develop.

 

     Feelings of uncertainty and uneasiness take total control.  Any benefits building from the special gifts of strength and courage are faded into the background.  So why do such difficult scenarios exist?  Well, again, nothing is perfect in life.  But, if someone is to grow, develop, and learn new things, there has to be a building ground or foundation upon which to mature.

 

     It is just like a young child who is learning to walk.  Due to an innate desire to move, the heart is propelled to try and succeed.  But, along the way, there will be periods of tumbling, falling down, and even some redness.  The child gets up and tries again.

 

     The heart is like a beautiful seed being planted in the garden of hope by God's love.  It must have learning grounds where it can be nurtured, develop, and mature.  But, the initial success in such an environment depends upon two factors:  how the heart reacts to the situation, and how much effort is given.  The heart that reacts in a positive way and with joy reinforces the prospects of growth and success.

 

     Any negative perception only hinders success and prevents the heavy block of stress from becoming the dynamic stepping stone of success that it can be.  So, what does the journeyman do?  It is all about trust:  inner trust, and trust in the Lord.  Always remember that he is an outstanding playwright with the greater good always in his hands.

 

     When challenges are turned into a foundation for triumph, love's greatest power shines.  Always be positive and ready to learn.  Anticipate the great things that God has for the next act of the play (journey).

A heart that uses optimism, delight, and faith as its guiding force will often find the brighter pathway of the journey.

 

     What is the best definition of the word happiness?  There really isn't one.  Think about the genuine meaning and reflect upon it.  Sure, there might be a personal description that each heart would state and focus upon.  But, in actuality, it is not something that is acquired or obtained.  There is no value to it.  Yet, it is a priceless treasure to develop and promote.

 

     The truth is pure happiness is a matter of choice.  It is a frame of mind that begins with seeds of growth to help it develop and further its progression.  There are three main seeds that serve as the foundation:  faith, optimism, and enlightenment.  A heart that is firmly grounded in the roots of faith is situated in the stability of promise.  It is a recognition that there is no solitude.  But, there is a greater power that is in command for the greater good.

 

     As a result, it brings a peace because better things can be anticipated.  God is at the helm.  As this atmosphere matures, it increases inner belief or optimism.  Optimism is an expectation of great things or brighter outcomes no matter what the challenges or surroundings.  It is a determination to excel in the greatest way possible, always with the greatest ability. 

 

     Thirdly, the presence of faith and optimism spur the creative development and nurturing of enlightenment.  This is a positive inspiration that looks beyond the circumstances to the points of hope or horizons nestled beyond the clouds.  This is where pure happiness readily blossoms.  Any dedicated and devoted journeyman desiring success would want a perfect and ideal weather journey.

 

     They would want to discover the best pathways with the most solid footing to accomplish the greatest results.  So, kneel down and pray.  Get that strong foundation in place and stand upon it with a firm hold that cannot be detached under any means.

 

     Pure happiness is a beautiful gift that should never be hindered.  Let the heart be the best barometer it can be, guiding the journeyman on a pathway to a brighter and more enriching tomorrow.

Life is a precious, fragile gift of love from the hands of grace

It is filled with good times & many blessings both large & small

There will be clouds & rain that come that the heart will face

But your love & presence will be there whenever we may call.

Standing ready to be and bring everything that we will need

You have a very definitive, perfect, positive plan

Although it may not be so readily visible to see.

Life is like a beautiful flash of light, bright yet, quickly goes

There's another gift that's awaiting our hearts that is so true

It is the great relationship that the heart has come to know

Loving you as Father and spending eternity with you.

The Power Of The Tongue Goes Far Beyond Anything That The Mind Can Imagine

The Port Of Examination And Healing

Words are like blocks of change.  They can either build and develop or discourage and destroy.

 

     Words are powerful and meaningful tools.  They are factors that can have a significant impact upon the hearts that they touch and the environment.  This may sound like a complex statement to make.  But, take a brief moment to reflect upon the issue.  They are dynamic blocks of change.  There are the words that encourage, build, and enrich.  There are also the ones that discourage and destroy.

 

     It can be equally as potent whether from someone else or self stated.  They can have a strong impact on the mind, the heart, and the total well being.  There are two general categories to define:  straight forward, and in depth.  Suppose that someone said this statement:  'You're ugly".  Now this is an example of the first category.  It is false of course.  No one is ugly.  We are all beautiful, talented and gifted creations from God's heart.

 

     These are words that try to make a statement of fact and are detrimental to the heart that reflects upon them with great effort.  Now, consider two examples that are self-stated:  "I'm stupid", and "I'm afraid".  These words are more harmful because they can indicate a deteriorating sense of inner strength.

 

     Human emotions are a very real part of every day life.  But, it is what the journeyman allows himself / herself to believe that matters.  Fear is a very destructive and negative force.  Its power only grows if it is given a chance to do so.  It has no part in anyone's life, especially when it is governed by faith.

 

     Now, a few examples of the other category.  Consider these two statements for a moment:  "Your skills leave much to be desired", or "I am my own worst enemy".  Both statements require in depth thought in order to define them completely.  

 

     So, what types of steps can be taken to reassure that the blocks of change are solid blocks of hope along the journey?  Well, the journeyman can take three distinctive steps to initiate positive change.  The first step is faith, prayer and positive belief.  Anytime the beautiful points of strength in a journeyman's heart become weakened, they can easily be restored through God's grace.  The second step is to not take things with great seriousness and intensity.

 

     Taking everything to heart causes two things to happen:  it opens the door to more negative things like anger and fear, and also tears away at inner peace and health.  The third step is personal examination.  This may revert back to something that many hear as children.  "Treat others the way that you yourself would want to be treated".

 

     Look within at the thoughts and words of your heart and choose them carefully for yourself and others.  Remember, if you plant an apple seed in the ground, you are not going to get a peach tree.  What does this mean?  If you plant the right seed, you will most likely reap the right harvest in due time.

 

     So, the journeyman needs to prepare for the blocks of change.  Every effort should be made for building strong blocks that encourage distinctive, positive growth.  The stumbling blocks should be bypassed, or used as a learning lesson and dismissed.  The power of the tongue is unbelievable.  But, used in the right way, it is a powerful star of happiness and healing for a successful journey.

The Armor Of Hope Is The Veil Of Inspiration That Provides New Strength For Each Day

A heart that reinforces itself with the proper seeds of encouragement nurtures its growth for a brighter future

 

     The greatest initiative exhibited in any endeavor increases a favorable environment for desirable, positive results.  The process of reinforcing the strength of something makes it more durable to withstand any elements that it may encounter.  This provides a greater sense of assurance and determination when taking those initial steps of adventure.  But, what is a source of that initiative?

 

     It can be found in the armor of hope.  So, what is the armor of hope?  It consists of six essential points that could be considered 'seeds' of inspiration.  These six points include:  patience, humility, adaptability, understanding, mercy, and encouragement.  Patience is the calm or gentle perception meter of the heart.  It is an essential seed because it allows a clearer picture of life to be painted with no obstruction.

 

     Humility is the pureness or genuine nature of the heart.  It allows the heart to essentially open its door and be the blessing it needs to be and was designed to be.  Adaptability is the home seed of the heart.  It is the definitive nature to want to fit in and be an essential resource of potential and prosperity.  Understanding is the kindness or caring barometer of the heart.  It is the heart's window of genuine truth and beauty in the essence of reality.

 

     Mercy is the forgiving seed of the heart.  It is the friendship orientation of the heart to reach out and facilitate peace in an environment.  Encouragement is the foundation seed.  It is the yearning of the heart to be a light and source of happiness in their world.  

 

     Putting on the full armor of hope and incorporating it into the journey prepares the journeyman.  It gives him / her a greater sense of perception and preparation for life.  Such details allow the heart two essential benefits.  The first benefit allows it to improve upon itself and grow into the blossoming light of happiness that it desires to be.  The second benefit allows it to become a source of blessing and dreams come true for itself and for others.

 

     Why is this true?  The armor of hope helps the journeyman to develop as a person.  Answers to perplexing questions can be sought through faith and prayer and deep within the reflecting power of these points.  Life is an adventure and a road of discovery.

 

     But, one can be better prepared and greatly inspired in order to reach true genuine success.  It all begins with the powerful seeds of the armor of hope for the journey!

Life Is A Precious Recipe Of Love

The Port Of Grace And Blessing

A heart that sees the true wonder of life will make use of its greatest aspects  

     The ideal recipe is an important issue to consider in order to achieve a desired end result.  There are many components that need to be reviewed in the process:  ingredients, environment, tender loving care, as well as how much of something, and when.  Once the finished product has been obtained, it then becomes necessary to nurture and monitor it to encourage further development.

      So, what is the perfect example of an ideal recipe?  The answer to that question is quite simple - life.  Life is a beautiful gift of grace bestowed from a magnificent creator's heart.  It is the end result uniquely developed by his mighty hands established over time.  There are many special gifts that are appropriated at their own given point, all in the name of perfect love - a recipe of love.

     What are some of these gifts?  A few examples are:  blessings, provisions, strength, healing, prayer, and happiness.  Blessings are the beautiful tokens of peace, both large and small, that enhance life.  Provisions are the tools of hope that make life more adaptable.  Strength and healing are the 'able' factors for the journeyman that makes life more acceptable with every step.  Prayer and happiness are the lifeline and extension cord of the mission.

     However, the journeyman is also given a beautiful treasure chest of unique qualities to help facilitate that recipe.  These qualities include:  gratefulness, thankfulness, love, appreciation, and free will.  Gratefulness and thankfulness are powerful qualities.  They represent the realization of the heart of its many obtained graces from the hands of God.  There are blessings......from the largest to the very smallest.  This is where the essence of free will or choice comes in.

     The journeyman has the choice to be receptive and a visionary about the beautiful surroundings upon the journey.  For instance, suppose you weren't feeling well and received a get well card and some chicken soup from a friend.  A positive free will would definitely see this as a blessing.  

     Now, love and appreciation are the last two factors.  Love is the universal language of hope and positivity.  Appreciation is the acknowledgement of something good that has enriched the heart and the very footsteps of the journey.  

     When the overall picture is examined with intensity through the window of the heart influenced by these factors of the treasure chest, there is a greater acceptance of the delicacy of life.  As a result, the journeyman sees the boundaries of each moment, and works diligently to make the most of it, all in a constructive way.  The moments of time become the clay mold that can be developed into something awesome with the greatest potential.

     As this happens, the journeyman realizes that the factors also grow in their intensity to be great.  It is like a conglomerate of good things all benefiting each other, and the heart......the desired result.  

     So, the recipe of love is a nurtured recipe of hope from God's heart that lays a path for tomorrow.

The Walk

My Lord:

  Sometimes it gets so hard to walk through each day

I try to give my best in all that I must do

But, then I start to struggle along the way

That's when I fall to my knees and cry out to you.

Every tear I shed you so strongly share

Your sweet and precious heart opens from above

then you begin to teach me because you care

a great lesson about trust, all done with love. 

You show me how to give everything to you

and pledge myself into your hands everyday

No matter what, you will always see me through

But, I must never give up in any way.

In patience, you teach me to truly believe

and show me how my life's walk grows better still

To take each step after you I will receive

the greatest victory if I let go of my own will.

The Heart That Prepares For The Journey Will See A Greater Light Toward Victory

The Port Of Focus And Determination

The heart that enables itself with the keys of promise will enrich its footsteps with hope

 

     There is one word that has such an in depth definition and degree of importance, yet, is complicated to simplify.....time.  It is a tool of wonder that when properly managed can provide greater inroads to success.  But, what does such personal management entail?  Why is it an important issue?  When the journeyman becomes empowered for the footsteps ahead, it enables the heart for greater hope for a better mission.  How is this task accomplished?  The heart prepares itself with the five keys of promise.  These keys help it to grow, develop, and prosper making it better equipped to navigate the journey.
     
     These five keys are as follows:  focus, determination, dedication, happiness, and peace.  Focus is the joined vision between the mind and the heart.  The mind places its concentration on the facts.....dreams, points along the way, and end desire.  The heart places its concentration on the overall clear picture..... the essence behind the facts and what it involves.
Determination is the willingness shared between the heart and the spirit.  The heart sees the mission, the end result, and the inner strength needed to get there.  The spirit envisions the courage and the power that are needed to go forward and accomplish the great task at hand.

     Dedication is a pledge of the human soul to work diligently to obtain its desires and not be offset by anything in pursuit of the goal.  It is the third most important key because, along with personal vision and will, personal courage is a much needed asset to accomplish things victoriously.  The fourth and fifth keys are happiness, and peace.  These are influential factors that nurture and enforce the other keys into growing and developing.

     It is a perfect, genuine, and eternal happiness that results from a blessed and grateful heart aware of the goodness bestowed to it.  The ideal peace comes from the combination of the other keys to result in a truly tranquil heart.  It cannot be altered by anything because it is not influenced by outer factors, but, inner joys.  A heart that is more happy and peaceful will be even more focused, dedicated, and determined.  So how does the five keys of promise enable greater time management and better travels?  It is an inner road map that allows the journeyman in total being to be prepared to walk with confidence and self-assurance.

     Each step that is more efficiently taken will result in a delightful, more productive journey.  This means a greater light of hope toward victory.  Remember, when you combine the keys of promise with the influential inspiration of faith and prayer, and a strong belief in self, nothing is ever impossible.  God is in total control over everything.  All good and perfect things that are worth having in this life come directly from his heart of perfect love and grace.

The heart that places its well being firmly upon the foundation of tomorrow's hope will protect itself from vulnerability's strongest hold

     The infinite power of an omnicient creator is so spectacular, it defies mere understanding.  This is especially true upon examination of the creative uniqueness of the human heart.  The heart is a beautiful, and magnificent vessel of promise.  Its potential to develop beyond its boundaries is mind boggling.  Yet, the extent of its delicate and fragile nature can be truly surprising.  It is an instrument of possibility that yearns for the seeds of inspiration and encouragement that will nurture it to grow beyond any expectation.

 

     However, if the journeyman's heart becomes susceptible to the anchors of the journey, it can alter things.  So, what are the anchors of the journey?  What do they mean?  They are five stumbling blocks that can deter a path to dreams and success.  These five factors are:  doubt, worry / fear, anxiety, hatred, and jealousy / envy.  

 

     Doubt is probably the most powerfully destructive anchor.  It is a negative force that counteracts the possibility of something good.  If this anchor takes hold, it can deter the beauty of inspiration from nurturing potential dreams and great things.  The second most powerfully destructive anchor is worry / fear.  This is a negative force that counteracts the potential of faith and trust.  If this anchor takes hold, it has a crippling effect that paralyzes the journeyman's heart from believing in the reality of positive things.

 

     The third anchor is anxiety.  This destructive force has a two fold effect:  stress, and anxiousness.  Stress is an unrelenting feeling of helplessness brought on by negative outlook and beliefs.  Anxiousness is a destructive feeling of nervousness.  This anchor can stop the journeyman from having and increasing strength and endurance to persevere.  The final two anchors are hatred, and jealousy / envy.  These anchors differ from the others, yet are more lethal in that they are directed at another person.  They are the third most powerfully destructive of the anchors for two reasons.  They stop success, and also deter the growth of the greatest part of the journeyman's heart:  love, kindness, and the bonding relationship with others.

 

     So, how does the journeyman become susceptible to the anchors of the journey?  Some might say it is the imperfection of the human nature that is the cause.  But, mostly, it is due to the weakening and reduction of the strength and beliefs as the rugged foundation that solidified the journey.

 

     What can the journeyman do to get back on the journey road?  It can be summed up in just two simple words.......faith and prayer.  Prayer to that powerful creator and a willingness to get back on track will restore the definition of the mission and empower the eternal strength of the heart.  How can future anchors be avoided?  They can be overridden through the power of a mighty and magnificent God.
