Father:
Please keep us safely in your protective care
Cover us with your anointing from above
Help us to know that you are always right there
Shielding us all with your light and your great love.

No matter what is contained in each new day
or what factors may suddenly be in place
Please come right beside us each step of the way
Holding us warmly in your mighty embrace.
Lord, you will keep us safe with a peace so true
Your comfort will calm every one of our fears
Your mighty power will always take us through
You are our great shelter and fortress so dear.
