Has there ever been a time when you felt like giving up?  You feel that you just don't have the energy anymore for every day life.  It is an easy way to feel, especially in today's world.
     But, here is the good news.  Sometimes the best thing to do is nothing.  What?  Simply give your heart over to the Lord and say three simple words.....'it's all you'.
     It is at that point when you can expect something wonderful.  It may not be at the exact moment you want.  But, it will come at the needed time.
     The Lord will be there with his love and completely engulfs you in his magnificent presence.  Your feelings of helplessness disappear.  You feel this warmth like a newborn being held by its parent for the first time.
     So, the answer is don't give up on yourself.  But, give up your pride and 'self' struggle.  Let God be your light of direction.  His love and direction will be the light that will help you to see and succeed through every pathway.
     You never have to feel misguided or confused.  No matter what the environment may seem like.....God's power has the lead overall.  So look up and smile.

     Think about a time when you felt so empty and alone.  Maybe it was for different reasons:  the economy, hurt, etc.  Perhaps you feel that way right now.

 

     Let's face it.  We are all human, imperfect, and will be effected by what is around us.  But, we have the greatest remedy for what ails us.  The Father knows our deepest concerns.  Every time we shed a tear, so does he.

 

     We simply need to come before him, and ask for help.  He will then reach down with his masterful hands and hold us in his presence and surround us with his love.

 

     Have you seen the beauty of a rainbow after a rain shower?  Well, that is what it is like when his peace overtakes you.  It is an assurance that every thing will be fine.

 

     But, then something more exquisite occurs.  His love begins to fill every empty point rebuilding it stronger than ever.  Suddenly, the inadequacies begin to disappear.  You feel like a new person.

 

     So, don't look at the situation.  Look at the one who holds tomorrow.  Tell him all of your cares.  He will begin the restoration process one block at a time.  Give him your heart.  He'll be your tomorrow.

     Have you ever walked outside into a fog so thick that you could hardly see anything?  Your initial feelings would probably be those of uncertainty and intimidation.  How will you successfully reach your destination if you are unaware of what's ahead of you?  

     But, there is a breathtaking and beautiful lighthouse that is a strong symbol of hope in the midst of all weather.  Sometimes when you venture out upon the pathway of your journey, your footsteps may become unstable, and challening.

     But, when you rely on the Caretaker of that lighthouse, suddenly the uncertainty is slowly chipped away.  Intimidation is transformed into strength.  Instability suddenly becomes a powerful anchor of faith and promise.

     The seed of tomorrow's dream takes shape, nurtured by the light of anticipation.  Every footstep is now enforced by the power of a Father's loving heart.  

     There will still be times of uncertainty.  Nothing is perfect.  But, a Father's hand of grace reaches down to steady every step.  So, place your journey in the care of the Lighthouse Caretaker.

     Remember, when you walk with God, challenges will only become a champion's septure to victory!

     Finding the ideal attitude is like trying to navigate a hot air balloon in a wind storm.  There are times when it can seem difficult and even somewhat impossible.
     This is especially true in today's stress-filled, fast paced society.  Consider the following example:  suppose that a dear friend argues with you over something that seems so trivial and insignificant.
     Now, there are a few ways that you can react to this situation.  You could step back and diffuse the situation, keeping the peace.  You could also argue and fight, causing turmoil, and upsetting a beautiful friendship.
     Most of us, trying to side with common sense, would probably choose the first choice.  Yet, unfortunately, the essence of human nature would lead us more toward the second choice.
     But, there is a beautiful light that comes shining through just when we need it the most.  It stops the winds, calms the waters, and brings perfect peace.  It is the awesome presence and love of the Lord.
     All that we need to do is call out to him.  The light of his love in its greatest strength comes in, helps us, and teaches us how to properly build every moment.
     So, get ready to put on a Heavenly attitude.  Make the most of every opportunity to grow and develop as a new person.  Don't let factors determine who you are.  Define yourself with the very best definition possible.  Give it to God today!

Taking Out The Garbage

     Have you ever seen baby birds as they are just learning how to fly?  It is one of the most interesting things to behold.  The mother bird brings them to the edge of the nest.  She nudges them a little, and watches.  They are probably fearful of the unknown.

     She then gives them a push, inspiring them to bypass their fears, and embrace the beautiful skies ahead.  Human nature can relate in much the same way.  As we embark upon the journey, we face real, unknown factors that can provoke the presence of a very real enemy.

     Fear is like a powerful gripping device that holds on tightly.  It can range from a variety of types, like:  fear of the unknown, failure, rejection, and on and on.  Practically all of us have experienced that feeling of wanting to 'fit in' especially in school.

     But, there is a ray of hope that will always shine brightly into each situation.  This light is the love of God.  When we put on the shield of faith and his love, it protects us from the grip taking hold and its destruction.

     But, we must have a willing heart of submission.  The faith takes over.  God's love and his presence drive out all fear and replace it with peace and comfort.  So, then you have to ask one distinctive question - why be afraid?

     Here is where the greatest effort comes in - take out the garbage.  Take whatever fears that might be trying to overwhelm you and give them to God.  He'll take the dubious bundle, and replace it with strength, courage, and a beautiful peace that goes beyond all understanding.

     It is simple.  Take the first step.  Safeguard your heart with the light of faith.  After that, walk tall on your journey.  You know that even though it will come again, it has no controlling power.  God's love will always come shining through.

     SO, TAKE OUT THE GARBAGE!

     Sometimes, one of the greatest things that you can do is nothing.  What?  We all tend to be very controlling individuals.  We don't quite understand something.  Yet, we try with great diligence to figure it out in our own wonderment.

     The result is a stressed out heart full of tension.  Instead, we should just be at peace, and pray.  Success is not defined in terms of money or fame.  But, true success is the happiness, calm, and satisfaction of the heart.

     What is it that motivates you?  What is it that brings you peace?  Your pathway should be defined by satisfaction, not wealth.  Life is short.  Every moment is a gift, and so precious.

     Each footstep that you take should give back eternal blessing.  Why get stressed out by what really are trivial things?  Take a walk outside and enjoy the beautiful fall weather.

     Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and just relax and try to smile.  Submit your concerns before your loving Creator, and leave them there.

     Be positive and have faith in your heart.  You will then see two things happen:  things will start to work out for your good, and you will feel a hundred percent better inside.  So take the first step of hope today.  Get rid of the stress.  Go for the best!

The Most Difficult Question

     Take a moment to consider how you would answer the following question:  what is the most difficult question for you?  There could probably be many ways to answer that question with many different types of answers.  

     But, here is a most difficult question that surely many of us face:  how can you be yourself and remain true to who you are?  This can be a very challenging task.

     We live in a rapidly changing, multi-faceted world.  There are factors that will try to pressure and influence how we define and see ourselves.  This can come in several different forms, such as:  peer pressure...(yes, this can occur in adults), societal pressure, economic pressure, political pressure, and the list goes on and on.

     Outside forces will try to persuade us that we must look a certain way.  If we don't, then we are not acceptable.  We have to have the right things to be successful.  We have to back the right political group.

     The only thing that we need to focus on is God our Creator.  He is the Provider of all good things worth having.  If we trust in him, and look at ourselves and the world from his viewpoint, then we will have the strength to be victorious.

     He will show us how to be the dynamic person that we were born to be.  He will shape every one of our steps and give us the strength to go onward in an awesome way.  The light of his love will be the barrier that blocks the temptations.

   But, it will also be the influential factor that makes important and inspiring change.  So, if you want to answer the question.....how do I be myself and be true to who I am?  Just simply say three simple words:  My Jesus.....Help.

The Happy Smile

     What does pure happiness mean?  Some might say that it is personally defined in each individuals heart.  Others might define it as a materialistic goal that brings great joy.

      But, it has a more complex and genuine meaning.  Pure happiness is a precious gift that is priceless.  It is limitless, and yet, extremely fragile.

     It can be truly defined in three specific points:  knowing who you are, knowing where you came from, and knowing where you are going.

     You cannot find true happiness unless you know who you are inside and out, and respect yourself.  It is important to see the true gifted person that you are and the beautiful light within you.

     You are special and unique.  But, it is crucial to always see yourself through the eyes of your Creator.  It is the true definition, not the world around you.

     It is only then that you can get a clear depiction of yourself.  Secondly, knowing where you come from is essential.  Take a step back and look at the wonderful things that encompass your life.

     There are many things to be grateful for:  loving family, friends, etc.  There might be imperfections.  But, these will seem trivial compared to all that we have that make us who we are.

     Thirdly, knowing where we are going is so important.  We come from a loving Heavenly Father.  He has a great plan and purpose for us, all in place.

     We need to have faith, and trust in him, knowing that all things are possible if you believe.  We can plant the seeds of hope within our heart and let them blossom, knowing that wonderful dreams can come true.

     So, happiness is not obtained, but, nurtured from within by the love of a wonderful Heavenly Father.  It is not defined by success.  It is a state of being content, and being at peace with who you are and all that God has truly destined you to be!
