Lord, as I take my steps today
Help me to always clearly see
No matter what is my pathway
You are always right there with me...

When you feel like you're alone

and

no one seems to care

 If you exist or not

from one day to the next

You feel coldness all around you

and

it's more than you can bear

You don't feel like

ever giving your best.

Suddenly, there's a small warmth

in your heart

It almost feels like someone 

reaching out to you.

You look and there's a glow

that's growing bright

and

glimmers in everything you do.

A tear trickles from your eye

you hear your name 

so faintly

yet

no one seems to be around

Suddenly, your heart is energized

and

you begin to kneel

on the ground.

This voice grows louder

'I am here'

'I love you and am always

by your side'.

A beautiful smile begins to blossom

and you close your eyes 

and begin to pray

with humbleness and pride

You realize how much you

mean to your Father

and

the loneliness disappears

A precious sense

of

love and peace

takes

hold

The beauty of His presence

When I take time to reflect upon all that is around me,
Every beautiful thing that fills my life, large and small so true
My heart overflows with pure wonder and great humility
As I am in awe at the great blessings I receive from you.

I don't realize just how truly fortunate I have become,
Always looking for something more and so really unaware
Something so magnificent and miraculous has begun
You are already anointing my life with beauty and care.
You gave me a salvation that is a priceless gift of love
and an eternal bond with you that grows stronger every day
All the wonderful expressions of hope from Heaven above
It seems to bless each moment of my life in a special way.
I see it in the caring of a friend that is there for me,
