My deepest concern is falling short of what You see for me.
To not be able to measure up to what You now expect
I worry about my mistakes and failures so nervously
It's hard for me to comprehend or determine what's next.
But then I can hear a voice so softly whisper in my ear
My forgiveness and mercy will cover it all completely
You are my breathtaking creation the I hold so dear
Recall that You are and will always be the greatest part of me.
It was at that point my tears stopped and I said 'help me more '
You showed me I was forgiven and a new life had begun
Savior I didn't realize the miracles You had in store
You are my light of hope and promise until the day is done.
So I raised my head and took Your hands not knowing what I would find
My deepest concerns were quickly replaced by perfect peace so true
You are my tranquility for spirit, body, soul and mind
Thank You for forgiving me and working to make me brand new!
