My Greatest Dream

Jesus.....

My greatest dream is to be the breathtaking star of light for Your love 

To show the world just what it means to live for You and serve You at best 

Having Your anointing bless my life more times than I can think of 

And living every moment filled with Your joy and perfect happiness 

My greatest desire is to be the delight You are pleased in forever more 

To stand up and work hard knowing You are being honored each day 

To give to You so abundantly and truly from my heart's core

Becoming more of Your dedicated child in every way 

My greatest desire is to be Your exhalation song so true 

Singing of Your presence loudly for everyone to hear

Shouting how thankful I am to embrace and always love You 

Savior thank You for our bond that I do cherish and hold dear

My Heart Aches So Much

My heart is in so much pain breaking beyond what I can stand 

I feel so lost and alone not knowing who I am anymore 

My spirit is trying to find direction with all I had planned 

Trying to decide what's important and strong at my heart's core 

I don't see any hope or promise that I can hold on to 

My heart reaches with power for the great friendship that we share 

Even though it appears things seem to be failing each moment through 

I cleave to our devotion and bond because You do care

You give me so much of Yourself in every way 

I have to stop looking at what appears and hope with great might 

Because You are the author and creator of each new day 

I can have victory somehow because You are my delight 

The Torch Of Life

You are the torch of the fire 🔥 of life that keeps my heart ignited with a hope so true 

A mentor who teaches me the words 'I trust ' and why this is an anchor ⚓ to hold dear

You give me special meaning and purpose to follow You in all I do 

Understanding that I will always hold so tightly to You because You are always near.

You are the ⛵ sea of the water of life that flows so freely wherever I may go 

The thirst quenching refreshing nourishment that is there at all times for me 

The beautiful merciful promise that is my pleasure to follow and to come to know 

My unending hope and blessing that touches all that I am for eternity 

You are the happiness and pure joy 😊 that is mine forever in the window 🪟 of life 

My Savior and best friend who leads me and helps me with all His best every step of the way 

Thank You Lord for giving me a pathway that is filled with joy near You and free of strife

When I Feel Like Giving Up

The pain in my heart is building a strong pressure that I cannot stand anymore 

I look inside searching for answers but I can't find anything to fill the hole

Your magnificent presence begins to shine in with wonderful things in store 

That's when my spirit reaches in searching for positivity with joy untold 

I try to look for better things and wonderful blessings to fill the moments of my days 

But all I can see are my failures, disappointments and inconsistencies 

Just then Your peace and assurance come in with inspiration in many ways 

As You work hard to bring out the absolute best of what You want in me

Now I can see the hope and promise of Your adoration and mercy coming through 

Suddenly giving up is not looking like a viable solution anymore 

Thank You Savior for giving me Your breathtaking beautiful touch so fresh and new

I have Your presence to give me a life line that love is there always with grace at its core

Give me the courage to face every moment of the day with a smile and happiness
